You do know its not about you, don't you?
Yes I do dont get why you are getting your knickers in a twist. Merely explaining how I come to my viewpoint to try avoid people getting all uppity.

So bit of a fail there really.

First sign of a serial killer isn't it? Torturing animals?
Not necessarily the first, but it's in the mix of criteria for sociopathy or antisocial personality disorder. Not all sociopaths become serial killers, but the omens generally aren't good if left untreated/unmanaged.

This is on par with that video earlier this year of a young woman throwing live puppies into a fast moving, freezing river for jollies. Sick individuals, literally.

Oddly, I find cruelty to animals like this infinitely harder to watch/stomach than man being inhumane to man. Both are despicable, but only one of them makes me angry.

Maybe because you know the animals are truly helpless, whereas as a fellow human you can subconsciously think about how you would avoid that situation.

Or that you subconsciously think the human may be to blame for their own fate, whereas the animals are innocent.

Either way, not entirely hard to explain smile

Does every thread in PH about anything remotely emotive have to turn into a feckin slagfest of name calling?

Sadly it would appear so. I am sorely tempted to start flagging peoples posts to mods. I am losing patience with the childish behaviour being displayed by both older and more prevalently newer members.

Clearly these people have serious mental problems but they are looking for the reaction you're giving them. Why do you think they're doing it and then posting the videos?
Not totally sure about the reaction, I don't think all those 'squashing' videos or whatever were done for a public reaction. I read recently about a Chinese girl who was coerced into prostitution & exactly this type of thing by a gang, it wasn't for the public. I imagine there are underground sites dedicated to this kind of sadism and globally this sort of thing happens every day on an industrial scale. I mean in parts of Asia they let the dogs see the other dogs being killed because their terror makes the meat better. (or for 'medicine' ?)

Not sure of the point of my post, happy days...

I don't think punishing a sadist by sadistic means is without a certain degree of irony that kind of undermines the righteous indignation of the "right thinking" folk...

OP, or anyone else saying they want to kill these cat killers, here you go:

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/9053442....

name and address of a man who smashed a cat against a wall until it's skull crushed and it died.

http://www.gazette-news.co.uk/news/local/9399926.C...

Details of a man who strangled to death then burnt 4 cats.

http://www.libdemvoice.org/lib-dem-candidate-jaile...

Former Lib Dem candidate who smashed a cat to death with a walking stick.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-ord...

Cat cross bowed to death.

Lots of posters threatening murder against cat killers over the past week so come on chaps, what are you waiting for?

Those who are cruel to animals, like the recent kitten cases, are clearly mentally unhinged and deserve to face the wrath of the law hence I hope they are tracked down. Those who claim they would like to personally kill the aforementioned individuals are either liars or equally as unhinged as the initial perpetrator of the cruel act.

Close but not quite. A kitten is a helpless little animal. Killing it is evil.

A kitten torturer/murder is a horrible vile thing. Killing it isn't as bad.

A law that puts a man (who’s elderly by the sound of it) in jail for hitting a cat with a walking stick when it’s attacked a (small by the sound of it) child is utterly unhinged. We do really need to tell the ‘animal welfare’ bullies to get stuffed in this country. And to learn some respect for people.
