No more mosques, and install a camera at every mosque and listen to the peaceful sermons on being good British citizens etc.

They're set and and funded by the west. Just because I were to shout Allah Akbar or whatever and carry a black flag with some Arabic writing doesn't make me muslim. Atheist as that can be. I just don't buy into the media like most of the fools on here do.

The Tunisians I spent time with were as promiscuous and fond of alcohol as any Westerner.

I'm sure it will come to the point, maybe a long time from now, where we either accept more regular attacks such as these in the UK or we say to the countries hoarding these s "sort your mess out or be wiped out with them". Unfortunately for us the UK is currently doing a good impression of a backwards country and hoarding plenty of them ourselves.

Extremely sad news for the victims, their families & friends. Also terrible for the good people of Tunisia, because I think this will hit their economy really badly for many years to come. It could well cause the country to slide into chaos, being the fledgling democracy that it is & tourism making up such a large chunk of GDP.
We're cancelling our trip to Djerba in October. It's just not worth it. Not because we think we'll get mowed down in a hail of bullets by the pool, but you go on holiday to relax, and that unfortunately is now not going to happen.

I'm surprised too. I think that might be partly because of the 'nuke them from orbit' direction this thread has taken. Also there isn't much to say or discuss really, the event is unremittingly awful, and there aren't any easy answers to the current situation that can be written in a forum post of a few hundred words.

These attacks, Tunisia, France and Kuwait are tragic and utterly horrible acts of barbarism. There is no excuse for them and no understanding the motivations of the people who could carry out acts of wholesale violence on innocent people, as a form of collective punishment for some perceived slight, towards religion or other ideology.

Modernday Wars are going to be very complicated aren't they we used to know the enemy and their army no its a bit more difficult.when you can persuade a young Educated man to commit mass murder knowing his own life will end then what good are modern weapons and stratergies.
I can see much greater control of our borders and a huge increase in Policing powers over the next twenty years. The absence of any real leaders in this modern world doesnt help does it.
