Believe me, there is no self congratulation at work. I have felt for a while that the "Leave Campaign" (but not exclusively) has had an air of hysteria about it all along and it does have supporters who are borderline mental. I think something like this was probably on the cards.

Err you mean the remain campaign have been more hysterical I think surely? According to them it's going to be like this on Friday if we vote to leave.

Maybe take it to another thread?

This isn't the thread for political point scoring.

A woman, a mother and wife, is fighting for her life after an unprovoked attack. Can we leave politics out of it.

Rise above it Eric. You are far too clever to engage in this sort of nonsense.

Why?

Hysteria breeds further hysteria - and then bad things happen.

Those campaigning on both sides should have tried to calm the debate down a bit - instead of ramping up the fear factor more and more with each passing day.

They have a lot to answer for , in my opinion.
There are nutters on both sides Eric, "leavers" don't have a monopoly on nutters.

I did say it wasn't exclusive to "Leave". Yes - I did edit what I originally wrote but that was because I decided both sides have played their part in being irresponsible.

The whole "debate" has got out of hand. Indeed, I hesitate to use the word "debate" because it has mostly been two opposing sides ranting at each other and trying to spread fear.

Well done chaps.

I must say I'm a bit concerned that her husband has just posted a photo of her on twitter (MrBrendanCox) with no words - hope it's not what a lot of people are saying it means.

Same thoughts here.

Total silence from the hospital.
