If I was in front of a camera & spouting so much bullscensoredt & lies I'd be sweating like a pig. Do these politicians suffer from the same malady as Randy Andy or do they get special training?

You’d be rubbish because you’ve got a conscience and care about stuff.

Often to lie like this, it’s a lack of empathy or Narcissistic or even sociopathic tendencies. Some believe what they are saying some are lying but don’t care because they don’t feel any guilt or remorse about it.

As for Rayner, she left school and married a trade union leader and has been involved in her party since. She, like the born again zealots you see in religious cults or preachy vegans or climate change nutters (in both sides) is utterly convinced by her side’s doctrine.

I think her and McDonnell are the most dangerous in labour at the moment. Corbyn seems to prefer being in opposition but Rayner and McDonnell have a zeal and anger that others are missing.

Her ranting about closing private schools and seizing their assets at the Labour Party conference was eye opening. The party has seen sense and dropped the policy but I expect she’s not happy about it.

Comments on her family story etc are unnecessary.

However, I really struggle to see how anyone can take her seriously. Whilst I'm sure she has good intentions, she comes across as incoherent, prejudiced and wilfully confrontational. How has she achieved a position of influence within a major political party?

Sadly, the same can be said for many senior political figures across all parties. I'm not sure what has gone wrong. Contrast her tone and content with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrdIwYPMrtg

I think her family story is relevant as it shows how she became such a feverish and devout supporter of her parties doctrine and answers your last question of what has gone wrong.

One has to wonder at the depth of stupidity in anyone who’d vote for that.

I suppose it’s like moderate conservatives being able to ignore JRM or Boris’s lies etc

For many this election is just about selecting the least worst option and the parties different brexit positions obviously mix things up a bit too.

In an interview I saw last week, she told the reporter that she found herself pregnant at 16 (like it was some unavoidable illness) and was given a council house.
She went on to bemoan the fact that there are now not enough council houses available, to give to every pregnant schoolgirl.

You're not another one of these who thinks people should have some personal responsibility are you?

She's just thick as pigst. Been sold a line and believes it without question. When asked how they're going to magic up another 150k houses she said they'd done it before (after the war). She seemed utterly oblivious to the fact we essentially have full employment as it is, so without importing a load more people to build them fk all will be done.

McDonnell's a lot smarter, and more sly and devious. He knows the st will hit the fan and doesn't care. She's just a useful idiot.

I think you've got the answer within the question;

Based on my own personal experience working in the steel industry for 10+ years these would be considered desirable qualifications for members of a trade union. It's no surprise she worked her way through her dad's union office to her position within Labour.

Ironically for her, it was under a Tory govt?

She was reminded that she was given a council house under a Conservative government, which she of course ignored.

Interesting that over 560,000 homes were sold in England under Right to Buy under the last Labour government, you know, when they had an unassailable majority in the HoC and could have enacted anything they wanted to banghead

Terrifying isn't I when you see it on a big screen like that. I was watching that War Of The Worlds thing last night on BBC 1 when the Tripods towered over them

I bet you got a bit aroused though. Imagining Angela with her fringe looking a bit gaunt, towering over you while sitting astride you and telling you she’s going to seize your assets and give you some hard left educating. Talking dirty with her poor vocabulary and regional accent.
