How do they know its a British weapn ?

British made, British donated ?

Do ours lay a red white and blue vapor trail and a smell of cooked breakfast behind before exploding to land of hope and glory ?
Errr...

They should be supplied immediately after they're equipped with PA systems that play Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance, Jerusalem, Dvorak's Symphony No.9 and Rule Britannia on repeat, and the Boxers fitted with BVs adapted for use as samovars.
I'd prefer the belted out Motörhead, at the sort of voulme guaranteed to make the Russian's ears bleed. Like they used to in the 80's at Hammersmith and Bingley Hall.

I'd suggest the track "Bomber" would be apt too.

Ouch, that's a lot of defensive missiles they fired off too.

I doubt the Ukrainians will believe him, he's not exactly trustworthy.

He's stting himself as he thinks they might drop the Crimean bridge now they are getting the weapons at last. I hope the US doesn't buckle and fall for it.

Might be a combination of:

recent territory gains - can be sold as a win
fear of new influx of weapons
ATACMS seems to be very efffective and now longer range
Shoigu replacement is an economist who maybe explained the financial ststorm Putin is creating

I'm not convinced by the veracity of the story, and if it is true its likely to be a trick to get Ukriane to say "OK, we can discuss that" and then Putin says "OK, if you want to surrender we want Odessa."

I can't believe Putin would be willing to pause the war here and if he did the simplest way would to to just stop, there's no way Ukraine can put an offensive together right now.

Hope I'm wrong.

My vote is with the longer range ATACMS, they are simply too fast for any Russian air defence to intercept them (3x faster than HIMARS iirc)

I think so far the longer range version have had 100% success rate.
