I know a lot of people will say this is just ensuring everything is above board and water tight, but these are the things that are frustrating people so much.

She gave him 10 days extra, which turned into a hearing planned after 18 days, and now he is given another 7 days.

It’s hard to comprehend how the lines in the sand keep moving seemingly in trumps favour

Opening arguments in this case start on Monday now they've finally got 12 'good men and true' (hopefully) and 6 alternates in place.

Trump received his 'Parker warning' last week:

MERCHAN: You have the right to be present during the trial and to assist your attorneys….do you understand?

TRUMP: “Yes."

MERCHAN: If you disrupt the proceedings, you can be excluded from the courtroom and committed to jail based on your conduct and the trial will continue on in your absence…do you understand?

TRUMP: “I do.”

MERCHAN: If you do not show up there will be an arrest...do you understand?

TRUMP: "I do."

Even though this is standard procedure for every trial trump was of course whining that it was brought in just to punish him. On his way into the courtroom a journo asked him if he was going to testify and he said 'yes' so we'll see if he really did understand this warning. It's a damn shame, at the very least, that there's no video coverage on this trial.

This is entirely the point LF keeps making - at what point does a member of the Judiciary say (and mean) ‘enough’. Then, and only then, will justice actually be seen to be served.

Oh, I’m positive we all agree with that point.

However, it has been made (and repeatedly) and whilst we have our views or be frustrated, I cannot imagine that the authorities in New York are doing anything to lessen the chances of them succeeding.

So, I’d suggest they know best and we will just have to wait.

Me, I’d have jailed the orange tosser just for his fkibg whiny voice and pathetic hair.

+1, nobody disagrees with the basic point of frustration but nor do we need to be relentlessly reminded of the same point.

It's a poor move by James, imo.

This isn't his first bond, it's his third. He knows how the system works.

Not actually up to Jane's, but the judge. I think she's noting "happy to give another week".

I wouldn't be bothered if I was her...
