Though on second thoughts if by Minorities you mean members of labour’s NEC you may have a point.

The holocaust isn’t a get out of jail free card. It also isn’t however, by any stretch of the imagination, something that can be used for whataboutery. If you have a beef with Israel criticise it on its own terms. Otherwise you sound like Basil Fawlty.

Quite liked the Corbyn / Robinson comparison) - shame the article isn't open for comments - that would have been entertaining) :

If only all organisations put as much effort into fighting Racism as Labour have in dealing with a niche problem like Anti-Semetism.

I guess Anti-Semetism is suffered by white folk while racism is for darkies.

Sad.
Except that of course Jews from Ethiopia Yemen and various other places around the globe .... have dark skin.

Oh dear. Was the mural criticism of Israel? Was inviting to Parliament someone who said Jews make their bread with baby’s blood criticism of Israel? Was saying Jews suck babies cocks criticism of Israel? Was calling Hamas friends (their charter calls for genocide of every last Jew) criticism of Israel?

The answer in each case is no.

As to your claim that they are making life unbearable, for whom? Have you any examples?

I rest my case! Like the far right , you are trying to justify your foul racism. Why you are not banned on these forums is beyond me.

Reading the posts from the likes of you, it is easy to see why under far left or far right regimes, there are so many deaths/executions of citizens, you're just full of hate!

- Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.

- Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

- Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

- Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

Yuuup, that was pretty racist. Either a troll or an anti-Semite.

Is Jeremy an anti-Semite? No
Is Jeremy correct in pointing out crimes carried out by the Israelis? Yes
Does drawing a parallel to some of the similarities to what occurred in WW2 make sense? Yes
Does trying to have a discussion or view that is opposing to that of supporting Israel's position make you an anti-Semite? According to some agreed standards it does
Does this make Jeremy an anti-Semite? In the eyes of the politically blind or motivated, yes.
But is he one? No.

I think George Smiley would have been slightly more balanced in his opinions, unless of course he knew the subject personally which of course he didn't. biggrin

Sorry, not finished reading last few pages so not sure whether covered - but how would LVT be fair for those who are mortgaged to the hilt and don’t have much/any equity, so the bank effectively owns it?

Not sure whether his post was to try and convince himself or us of Corbyn's purity...

as soon as someone starts on about 'Jeremy' I just switch off because I know, just know, that there's going to be some pretentious waffle or deflecting going on and I'm glad to see that this early warning (cordar if you will) is running true to form

It makes me cringe......JEREMEEE..... JEREMEEEE......JEREMEEEEEE.
As if he's a personal mate.....PLONKERS.

Thing is.....all his years as a backbencher he enjoyed his role as an agent of the extreme left and as so his public profile was under the radar.
He never ever expected to become leader of the Labour Party so he could spout his devisive vitriol and it hardly ever got reported.

Corbyn says he's not anti-semitic but he's stirred up a lot of anti-semitism by his actions.
Is he an anti-semite? If not he's not that intelligent if he didn't realise his actions would be welcomed by Nazis and terrorist sympathisers alike so either way the man is not fit for office.
