Between 7,000 and 8,000 people gathered on the tarmac at the Aero Center at Wilmington airport, trump called from his plane apparently and part was played out to the crowd waiting, an hour before he was due to speak.
https://apnews.com/article/trump-biden-2024-campai...

trump previously at his rallies has claimed that high winds and bad weather didn't stop him getting there (even when it's been fine) and claimed he demands his pilot land regardless.

edit:

If only there was a large building like a Hanger they could have sheltered in until it passed.
This is because trump likes to fly in last minute in front of the crowd, descend the steps and use the plane as a backdrop before flying out again.

Meanwhile Johnson claims it took so long because they were doing other important work, like the attempted impeachment of Mayorkas

Thoughts on the first person to be called in the trump trial. David Pecker, National Enquirer/AMI, who did the catch and kill for trump, who did the payoff of Karen McDougal.

Just after trump came down the trump tower escalator to say he was running, in August 2015, trump and Cohen met with Pecker, who offered to serve as the campaign’s “eyes and ears” to help trump and hurt his rivals, using the National Enquirer’s coverage

American Media admitted to certain conduct through a non-prosecution agreement with DOJ in 2018 and this “conciliation agreement” with the Federal Election Commission in 2021

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/12/12/media/american-...

Part of putting Cohen away, and excusing trump

It'll establish trumps knowledge and intent to conceal the payments and the affairs. Pecker can testify that Trump not only understood but heartily endorsed his publication’s offer to “catch and kill” negative stories about him, especially those relating to trumps affairs. Then can then bring in Cohen and others to verify the payments, the intent etc

Remember Pecker had a safe full of stories, allegedly Stormy and Karen weren't the only two affairs that were covered up

Hurray! Now your children can learn about President Trump and share in his legacy courtesy of The Kids Guide To President Trump, a 'patriotic gift bundle' from The Kids Guide, the company co-founded by Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas and father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

https://thekidsguide.com/president-trump/

It's free too! Well, 'free' in speech marks anyway. It's actually $2 – 'plus, as part of this special offer, your kids can look forward to a new Kids Guide covering an important topic for kids every 3-4 weeks, including an accompanying streaming video lesson and digital workbook, all for just $21.90. Plus, we’ll send your kids a new issue of EverBright Kids magazine & activity book each month for only $7.95.'

There's a story in the first issue about Hibernation (why some animals sleep through winter). Maybe that was inspired by trump's recent court appearances.

That right there is a sign of either:

(a) Bullstter
(b) Bully
(c) Narcissist

You decide.

To be fair, trump initially lost £130K on the last Stormy Night, (which turned into $420K by the time he paid Cohen back)

LOL - bullstter. There are claims that apparently trumps flight plan was NYC to Florida no plans for NC, so he was never going to the rally. Hung out the faithful again

He's not helping himself - reposted a newsmax article (again) attacking the judges daughter

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-tests-limits...

IIRC, thats now 4 counts, I presume prosecutors will add this one to the tally at the hearing next week and push for further sanction.

Apparently trump's team think its unlikely he'll be acquitted and fear a guilty verdict https://www.rawstory.com/trump-guilty-hush-money/

If he hasn't had his ego dented enough, his tenants want to rename one of his buildings: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/21/tr...

After passing the Ukraine funding bill, word is that Johnson will get no help from trump https://www.thedailybeast.com/can-donald-trump-sav...

Marge went on Fox news and got asked how is she helping to get trump re-elected by trying to oust Johnson. Marge claims that people criticising her aren't Amercians, she's spoken to the American people and they are with her https://youtu.be/9M6GCQ3nQbI

There's more arguing, with one Texas republican calling his colleagues scumbags https://www.newsweek.com/tony-gonzales-stunning-co...

Allegedly there are a few more Republicans that will immediately resign if Johnson is ousted, that loses the Republicans their majority and therefore a Democrat (defacto pick is Jefferies) becomes speaker. Can you imagine that, poor old Marge will have a coronary https://www.newsweek.com/anna-paulina-luna-reveals... Funniest bit of all is Matt Gaetz reckons Boebert could be a potential candidate on their side for speaker... I suppose if she was sat alone in the speakers chair at least it'd stop her cavorting in public...

It's not that long since Gaetz and Marge lost lots of money trying to do talks together, then Marge flagged him off and they fell out.

Gaetz is trying to get people to forget he listed McCarthy because he wouldn't stop the investigation into Gaetz sex trafficking, showing off teenage porm photos to colleagues etc
