Yes these Democrat politicians just cant stop themselves falling off bikes, they only get on them anyway to push their communist green agenda. You will never see any god fearing republican falling off a bike ......

He struggles with steps so a bike was always going to be a challenge, guess it was an attempt to make him look more vital

I have to say I will be bloody delighted if I am in that kind of shape should I make it to 79.

I've not seen it reported as anything other than 'he fell off his bike', with no claims of incompetence, age, health problems or comparisons to anything. Remarkably non-partisan, I thought.

Absolutely, but "the usual suspects" on this thread seem determined to interpret it differently:

Holy stballs; have you actually seen the video of it? He got his foot caught in the toe-strap and gravity took over. I've done that myself.

Don't be churlish.
Let the little-minded enjoy their little "victories".

Yep done it myself, the comment about steps stands (at least better than he does on them), but that was a PR exercise , no way did he just choose to go on a bike ride, there is talk about him running in '24 this was simply a display of how fit and dynamic he is to try and bolster support from his own party first and foremost. Do you think it achieved that ?

But at least its stopped people talking about his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia

Yeah, and that's why you only commented on an elderly man falling off his bicycle rather than discussing the trip to Saudi Arabia, right?!

It's amazing, isn't it? A sort of real-time self-parody...

I didn't post the news about him falling off his bicycle, I commented that its hardly news that an elderly man falls off his bicycle especially when he struggles with stairs and how a PR exercise for his campaign seemed to backfire

No point talking about Saudi Arabia on this site, despite some being very vocal about when Trump visited , but then gas was not almost $10 a gallon

"Critics say Trump has given the Saudis — and its crown prince in particular — a blank check and failed to hold the kingdom accountable for Khashoggi's murder, for an air war in Yemen that has allegedly killed thousands of civilians, and for other human rights abuses"

Cool story.

In reality, he rides his bike regularly, and this is far from the first time that the media has reported on it.

But reality isn't for everyone, so you keep on believing whatever you like laugh

So if the media doesn't report on it , how are you aware he is a regular ?

"this is far from the first time that the media has reported on it"

Do you always pretend posts mean the exact inverse of what they say, or is it just in this thread?
