Nowt to do with global boiling obvs. The cross-party GWPF's latest PR circular, with some timely advice about government advice.
PR circular said:
London, 18 March – A wide-ranging review of official science advice examines serious failings in the way scientific advice is being delivered to governments and proposes radical reforms to improve it.
The report - with contributions by former UK government adviser Professor Michael Kelly, Clive Hambler, Professor Roger Kopple, Professor Peter Ridd and Harry Wilkinson - addresses fatal flaws in the scientific advice provided on climate change and during the Covid-19 pandemic and deplores the irresponsible use of computer modelling, among other issues
Irresponsible use of inadequate modelling, they can say that again. Better late than never; more can be found, easily, at GWPF.The report - with contributions by former UK government adviser Professor Michael Kelly, Clive Hambler, Professor Roger Kopple, Professor Peter Ridd and Harry Wilkinson - addresses fatal flaws in the scientific advice provided on climate change and during the Covid-19 pandemic and deplores the irresponsible use of computer modelling, among other issues
This is the dreck under consideration (below), models with assumptions and tuned parameterisations generating emissions that are known to fail the agw null hypothesis test against data - yet government swallows it, and such low quality (understatement) advice from IPCC politicians and erxtremist activists is enacted.
They shouldn't even inhale. CMIP5 models were running too hot, so along came CMIP6 running even hotter, hot to trot to MSM and politicians. Bonkers.

Are you really so desperate not to have contemporary research visible when the BBC et al won't cover it? Artlcles can be quoted. Images are copyright, so I don't portray the image.
Desperation off the scale.

With regard to images (a form of content) PH Rule 16 says do not copy and paste content into threads. A link to an image doesn't constitute copying and pasting content. Do mods realise what Rule 16 says and/or does Rule 16 need clarifying? No images have been copied and pasted, and no images of text have been copied and pasted. When typing in content from a source, that isn't copied either and nor is it pasted. Quotation marks and the source are cited as per academia where this avoids plagiarism accusations.
Complainants desperate to act as a censor and shut down debate are seemingly getting away with such censorship, given nothing has been "copied and pasted" which is what Rule 16 specifically forbids. At least it's clear now how posts are disappearig, it's self-appointed censors. I suspect that PH need to review this and change the rule if it must go beyond not copying and pasting
It looks suspiciously as though the thread has acquired a DIY Ministry of Truth as per the BBC comedy. Meanwhile:
The Mayor of Paris has announced that there'll be no air conditioning in athletes' rooms in order to shrink the carbon footprint of the summer Olympics. The basis is that science is to be trusted.
To be accurate, the Mayor should have said that assumptions in inadequate models which use tuned parameterisations in place of science they can't handle should be trusted. Of course not.
Nothing copied and pasted (as before) and the climate politics still whiffs like a sewer.

It ain't worth arguing over. But the headlines (and date of them) could be misrepresented by the text being written in a forum post.
It is a bit disingenuous, that is all.
I will check later.....

There is no such PH rule. In the PH rules, the word 'link' appears 9 times and on no occasion does it make an appearance to say what you claim.
https://www.pistonheads.com/rules-of-posting
Check it out. You're misrepresenting PH rules.
To clarify, the appearance here in NP&E rules is 0 with all 9 in the general Posting Rules.

I am asking if links to the full articles can be provided. I don't think I said it was against the PH rules. No misrepresentation other than someone stating I said it was against the rules
Simple comprehension.
Don't you think it would be easier to provide links to the full article for people to read and make up their own minds??

All I am asking for is links to the article as per PH rules.
It's not "as per PH rules" though, as I demonstrated with links to Rules of Posting and the NPE Rules, I thought giving links would be appreciated and seen as a neat touch. Now you say "I am asking if links to the full articles can be provided" - do you have simple comprehension problems with your own posts? You claimed this was "as per PH rules" when it's no such thing.
Providing links is not in any PH rule, so firstly you post a misrepresentation of PH rules, then you accuse somebody of comprehension problems when any such issues are yours alone, and with your own post content.

They contain confirmation of what we already knew: the models run too hot, alarmingly hot. Boiling. In fact, it reminds me of the opening scene of Sexy Beast. Maybe this is where the UN idiot in chief is getting his inspiration?

Excellent news. Obviously won’t stop the brainwashed fkwits though, but might give one or two of the loons pause for thought. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/entertainment/music/clim...
You gotta love the bit in the article about where some other splinter group nutjob targeted Greenpeace and Friends of the earth.

As a memory jog - it was around the same time you and turbobloke were furiously denying and denoucing the data.
Hope that helps
