You sound a delightfull chap. So she is an entitles **** because she takes her son to school ?
Maybe she is acaring mother who thinksgetting her child to school is an important part of the day.
For some reason there does seem to be a thing lately with folk expecting all kids to walk to school, and if they get dropped off by their parents then they are spoilt brats and their parents are over protective.

This completely ignores the fact that some caring parents can't afford to live close to a reasonable school so have to sacrifice their own time and reduce their working hours just to be able to get their kids safely to the school, in the morning and back home again. Those parents are probably giving up more for their kids welfare than anyone else.

What's to stop other drivers pulling up on the other side of the wombats glued to the road and just happen to sit there with their exhausts pointed at said wombats?

. . .and maybe giving it a few revs . . .

yes

11.5 miles from where we live to our daughters school. So shall we call that a four hour walk for an eleven year old girl?

Burnout? Preferably in something big and American. Then make your escape before the smoke clears...

They cross over every morning - the parents who think the school 10 miles away is a better school, with those the other end who think the school 10 miles away is a better school. Who was it that decided that every kid should have a choice about going anywhere other than their nearest school.

You're overthinking it. A few well-placed kicks will convey an important educational message.

I would probably lose my rag with these clowns & get myself in lots of trouble.

I have said before but the answer is eggs, smelly old rotten eggs.

If you travel on the M25 please have a box ready in the car, I really want to see photos of these protestors plastered with them.

Can't someone pop into Maccy Ds and get a load of their coffee that exists in liquid form despite being super heated to 150c, pop them into those weak cardboard tray things, with more balanced between the other cups.

Go over to offer them to the poor protesters, then trip, oops, scalding coffee all over them.

You were only trying to help.

I drive my daughter to school a few days a week, we park around the corner from her school then walk a few minutes, I'd love to walk the whole way with her but I live 20 minutes drive away. Not because we chose a better school away from where we live but because we share custody. Her mum lives 500m away from her school but unfortunately not all parents have that luxury for a variety of reasons

Offer them strong green tea. Should prompt a more rapid bladder response.

Calling agent Picolax. You are needed on the frontline.

That’ll get them moving quite quickly, in more than one way.

I've actually ordered some extra-long cable ties on the off chance I happen to meet some of these loonies. Job done.
Take their glasses off them, throw them over a fence or in bushes, make them look for them, should occupy them for a while

Distance from school is one of the main deciding factors in getting a place. If you live over a certain distance then you get free bus travel. If you're poor the free travel kicks in at a shorter distance.

Thee really isn't any need for so many people to drive their kids to school.

We have a school in our street. It's very popular and oversubscribed (it only has 30 places a year). We live about 100 metres from it and when we applied we were told we may not get a place. At school opening and closing the street is rammed with cars yet everyone will be from the immediate area.

XR blocked the M32 a few times, as well as various other roads in Bristol City centre. I'm surprised the insulation bods haven't surfaced there too.

Why dont they leave them? Remove the ones not glued to the road, then just leave them sat there.

Not true. School bus transport removed here. It's either pay up for a parent-managed system (which is good, and we use). Or drive, which has resulted in much more traffic.
