I still can’t understand why the Tory party put May(a remainer) in charge to try and deliver Brexit - it’s almost as if they knew it wouldn’t work.
Likely because none of the Brexit lot ever expected to have to actually deliver it and no-one had any clue how to do it.Speed 3 said:

Is it a rule that posters named after Porsche models have to post childishly stupid st every day, or is it just a lifestyle choice?
There does seem to be a pattern… https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-news/industry-ne...

Oh, well if they were merely incompetent for the first 5 years and only corrupt for the last 9, I guess that makes it OK ;
Not sure they were incompetent either. I thought the coalition was okay. The rot started to set in post the referendum in my opinion.
They really can’t keep their stupid mouths shut can they, another bullst tactic to try and hang on by trying to scare everyone that COVID version 2 is just around the corner and only they can save us

trying to distance herself from the shambles and very subtly i’ll grant you but to have faith they can do better next time

well considering there’s a total lack of admission of the total mess they made of it, the billions spent on T & T and dodgy PPE contracts, the act of shoving COVID + pensioners into care homes and complete failure to mention the current enquiry i’d say she’s trying to indicate they made a good job of it but ‘lessons have been learnt’ to improve the response next time. She’s merely
trying to distance herself from the shambles and very subtly i’ll grant you but to have faith they can do better next time
Ignoring your outrage, where exactly was it a party political broadcast? trying to distance herself from the shambles and very subtly i’ll grant you but to have faith they can do better next time

Saucy new poll in tomorrow’s Sunday Times.. Happy Easter all!
I hear that it is that Reform have jumped 10% in a matter of days, taken the lead over Tories and are well on their way to beating Labour. Then their MP's and spokespeople will change from going on about their policies to endlessly keep yacking on along these lines::
Grossly unfair first past the post is awful if we had PR we would have had x amount of MP's
We would have much better representation if we had PR
It's not fair
The voting system is unfair
We want the voting system to change we want it reformed
Remind you of another party ?
Answers on a postcode to the :
The silent majority aka Reform this reform that
Care of technically Anonymously Chap Davey EDd
1 Vincent Square,
London
W1P 2PN.
And that's quite enough of that subject/ Lib Dem rehash.
This is the Rishi thread and personally I think the last few hours have been good for Rishi - no MP's defected since tea time. No new leadership candidates emerged.
This is the best way to judge him: A few hours at a time.

I think this is the same poll but not behind a paywall like The Times.
Conservatives set for worst election result yet, research shows
Stick a fork in them they're done.
