He was busted logging into gay porn site, his wife was about to tell her dad, things got out of hand?
When was he busted, and when was she killed? There was a fair gap i think. Why involve others - could have taken her to some remote location and she could have slipped and fallen to her death. e.g near Cape of Good Hope (sic) sure there will be others along with better examples.

Maybe he didn't want to witness her death? Just speculating here. Why involve others - could have taken her to some remote location and she could have slipped and fallen to her death. e.g near Cape of Good Hope (sic) sure there will be others along with better examples.

For me the question is - why involve others you don't even know well.
And if he knows he is guilty, how come he has not topped himself (sort of save his family the guilty verdict) for he knows the South African jails are not pretty - a fate worse than death for a "westerner".

The Oscar Pistorius technique to get sympathy - tears.

Strange that the judge has acted in this way - one would think that the type of relationship Dewani has had with men (and what he has said to them) says a lot about the status of his marriage.
Guardian said:
The murder case against Shrien Dewani has suffered a serious setback after the trial judge stopped a male prostitute from giving evidence against him.
On Monday, the Birmingham-based escort, Leopold Leisser, had started to describe three sexual encounters with Dewani when the Briton’s barristers objected, saying the evidence was irrelevant.
Judge Jeanette Traverso ordered that Leisser stand down until she had been provided with detailed legal argument explaining why she should allow his evidence.
This is the second time Traverso, Cape Town’s second most senior judge, has stepped in to prevent the Dewani prosecution from providing evidence about the British businessman’s bisexual nature.
Two weeks ago, she stopped South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) from presenting the high court with sexually charged emails sent to Dewani from an older man about a year before the murder of Anni Dewani, the accused’s wife.
Reacting then to the NPA’s argument that the emails would prove that Dewani was “confused” about his sexuality, Traverso pointed out that the accused had admitted as much in his plea explanation to the court

Hasn't Dewani already admitted in court that he is bisexual? Why don't the prosecution focus on the facts of the case?Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
