You can spare me your condescension, it still doesn't make you correct.
For example, a Belgian doesn't get a passport stamp going into Germany, both are in the schengen, and the Belgian still doesn't get residency rights.
Fact remains, schengen membership would mean it's easier to manage.

M.
You can still be stopped and asked to show your ID/Passport when crossing internal borders in Schengen, many countries reintroduced border checks as a result of the unprecedented influx of illegal migrants through Schengen borders.

The list of reintroduced border checks within schengen is in this document, advice from the EU is to always carry ID if crossing country borders within the schengen zone.

In the upcoming election, will the Tories be outlining all the successes of Brexit?

They can point to skyrocketing immigration caused by Brexit, for instant.

Since immigration was the reason many of the brexit supporters voted incorrectly, some may have the sense to realise they were fooled.

Labour are an absolute shower, and not fit to be in government. I’m no Tory btw..

People will try to vote for change (like Brexit) as they feel they are not heard, Lab/cons not the answer imo..

No one has been fooled on over immigration, & imo most are yet to see the absolute destruction of fundamental services of over population, then having to pay for the vast amount of non active immigrants through overtaxation of everyday goods/items.

You do seem to be struggling with a simple concept. Free movement between schengen countries works because there are no restrictions on how long you can remain in any country. If the UK was in schengen a UK passport would not be stamped on entry. So no one would know when you have entered or left. So no one would know if you broke the 90/180 day law.
You can spare me your condescension, it still doesn't make you correct.

I am not being condescending just explaining the facts. It's some think anyone, such as myself is aware off.

A Belgium moving into Germany does not get residency rights. They do not need to apply for residence since they have an EU right, it's best they do so as to get assess to rights such as health care and the rights to work. However a brit unlike a Belgium is subject to the 90/180 day rule. Which the EU and the schengen countries must monitor by stamping passports as you enter and leave.

Don't vote. How is that logical?

How do you think you can bring about change?

Interesting view of what is left.

Deporting asylum seekers to Rwanda is pretty far right. Far right has the whip hand in the Tory party.

No, eu citizens do not have automatic residency rights.

I'd suggest you even do some basic self-education on the matter, before throwing your condescension about so willy-nilly.

Very much so, asylum claims in the eu are 70k a month, illegal migration is circa 10x that & is seasonal.

Just as they can fly into the UK in the same way. The Common Travel Area dictates that the UK and Ireland control each others borders. (the UK/Ireland Schengen style system with knobs on put in place decades before the EU existed)

You knew this of course.
