Interesting. I've just taken a look at the Composers' Compass and Wagner sits in the furthest corner of the Authoritarian-Right.

I have his Ride of the Valkyries as my ringtone. smile
As reported: "Woody Allen quipped that every time he heard Wagner, he was overcome with the urge to invade Poland" - Nuff said about Wagner's music methinks.

Not read through all the responses but this is me. Some of the questions I fairly in the middle about but a not bothered option wasn't there.

4 down 2 left.

The questions seemed a bit iffy though.

"A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system"

How the hell do I know? I just said maybe yes, it will delay progress. But I'm not sure how that determines which way I am biased politically.

Unexpected, I thought I'd be slightly lower down and a tiny bit more to the left. Strange survey, not sure I believe it. I don't follow it, it could do with a neither agree or disagree as suggested above.
I'm just the same as you.

I commented on the same question, it's hard not to agree with it but it doesn't mean you think that situation is right. (you commie smile)

Klara Hitler (Hitlers mom)

I don't think anyone else could say he came out of an orifice (and caused them great pain, I imagine the tash caused some friction hehe)

Same corner for me, but different position within.

Last time I did that test I was ever so slightly left of center on the horizontal scale with a - 6.something on the authoritarian/libertarian scale.

The older I get, the more I get to sit on the fence economically (I deeply distrust both the corporate and political 'elite') and the more staunchly libertarian I am. smile

The thing that strikes me that lots of folks on here seem to have a libertarian stance towards activities they themselves, or their percieved 'peers' are likely to indulge in, and authoritarian towards everyone else - which I feel is a tad hypocritical...
