Farnborough is now experiencing that weird yellow sky. It's the end of the world, I tell ya. Run for the hills.

I used to work in Godalming too, blimey it was 15 years ago.

The sky is all back to normal now here (North Staffs), but for a while it looked like someone had got the white balance set too high on a camera (that's my job!), especially with the daylight balanced bulbs in the office which just made the difference between indoors and out all the more dramatic.

Ha, I just did that too, it's really orange-dark here (central london) but the phone just took a normal-looking snap!

Even up in Aberdeen it was unbelievably dark this morning/afternoon. Very brown.

My car & several others are covered in dusty silty stuff too. Just from the rain in the past hour or so.

Phone has an 'auto-white-balance function' which alters the image to what it is pre-programmed to regard as normal colour balance

Didn't recognise it myself, used to live on Hawes Rd, but it was over 20 years ago.
