I will thank you to drop the personal attacks lest they come back to bite you the next time you start hectoring people about personal attacks.
So your accusation @ Elk wasn't a personal attack, it was just a 'genuine interpretation' of his post? Really?
Always a treat to see the easily offended come out to take offence for each other.

Do you need a safe space?

Correct i attacked his assertion that farage being picked on by the nasty EU if i wanted to attack Elk personally you would know i was insulting him.

Nothing i wrote in reply to elk was an attack on elk, farage on the other hand.
Ok, we'll pretend it wasn't an insult and put it down as a blatantly stupid misrepresentation of what he actually said. Understood.
See now you just can't resist showing just what a wker you really are.

Apparently he doesn't like this particular outing on LBC being shared around

It would be a shame if more people saw it hehe
James O'Brien gets on my nerves quite a bit but that's a peach.

I think the problem is people simply can't look at things objectively i.e. Farage says some sensible stuff sometimes, but there's the side of him that you see in that interview that seems massively hypocritical and intolerant.

I can see that, but so many seem unable to acknowledge that there is that side of him.

Given your recent poor judgement, I'm not sure that claim amounts to much...

Not much of a debate - you made silly claims and when challenged, rather than admit you were wrong, you tried to move the goalposts. Then you had a tantrum and went with the insults.

No thanks. But if you're going to attempt an insult, at least learn how to spell.

It serves two purposes: Firstly, it heads off the accusation that metro elite hand wringing liberals like me like to bandy about that UKIP fanbois are a bit under educated (fail on that one, obvs) & secondly it helps us to stop laughing at you when I cast my mind back a week or so when you mocked another poster & gleefully egged on your kippy mates too, for spelling 'ridiculous' 'rediculous'. silly

Are you still of the belief that anyone who voted to leave the EU must be a 'kipper'?

WOW and just what claims were these then ? that Farage is a thief and has been found out ,that Elk thinks the EU is biased against Farage?

Please do use your gigantonourmous intellect to point out which of these claims is silly?

I went with the insult because ,well basically you are one and to show you that if i want to insult someone it will be very clear and not hidden behind slimy mealy mouthed phrases.

One interesting thing to know is how many other MEPs have been investigated who are not UKIP/ right wing like La Pen etc.

Farage is very likely to have done what he's being fined for, and so good on fining him. But if it's just right wing/ leave EU parties that are being done in these investigations then it's clear it's being targeted politically, which would be wrong IMO. (It should be done to them all). It's not clear if the Guardian report is just mentioning the right due to their own views for reporting, or if there is only those parties being investigated.
My guess is that as in the UK it won't be just one "side" it'll be a mix.

As you say the media coverage is likely different depending who it is but from a quick Google most of the headlines seem to be around UKIP type parties.

It would be good to know if any other UK MEP's are implicated.

Any chance this thread can get back to discussing the actual subject and away from the repetitive personal attacks on each other?

NRS makes a good point - were any other MEPs investigated for similar abuses of the system?.

Also, does anyone know how the investigation was started? Was it triggered by a complaint or the EU's own decision.

Perhaps it's your memory at fault:

So let's get this clear you think good ol nige is going to take the EU to court and win because the nasty EU is picking on him and he is purer than the whitest snowflake liberated ever?
You still think that follows from what Elk wrote?

My comment about you wasn't intended as an insult it was intended as an accurate assessment of your intelligence, based on your recent posts (see above for details)...

The part you are overlooking is Farage, despite multiple documented instances of fascistic behaviour, from blaming delays on the M4 on immigrants to flying to America in order to endorse a child molester to speaking at far right rallies in Germany inexplicably remains an unimpeachable hero to swathes of black hearted reactionaries whose world view includes but is not limited to responding to people like me, who like to pour sunlight like this on grubby little men like Farage as snowflakes, libtards, country haters and so on.

To me, those epithets are a matter of intense pride & so, fk those guys.
Perhaps that is because you treat all Leaver voters as Farrage or Ukip supporters.
An opinion that was blatantly disproved by Ukip's performance in the last GE.
You yourself are one of the most vocal ,when it comes to insulting others
that hold opposing views. So fk you and your victim card you raving hippocrite.
o
I was about to respond in a very similar vein regarding Eddie's repeated hypocrisy ( whilst possibly not being quite so brutal ). Farage is no hero of mine, far from it in fact but I've not missed Eddie's self righteous, virtue signalling, rants about leavers whilst he's been away. Eddie has a very dark heart on occasions.
