This is *exactly* the same pattern as post Charlottesville.

The real Trump speaks out, saying something absurdly stupid.

Then President Trump is made to sit down and read a prepared statement to “clarify” things, which he duly does like and insincere and petulant child.

Then the real Trump rows back to his initial position within 24 hours.

He is so incredibly easy to manipulate.

With Butina and Erickson spilling the beans to the FBI, NRA, GOP leadership and family trump are in deep trouble...
I would think that the more people/institutions that are involved it will actually help Trump. It muddies the waters plus it means that more people will be fighting against exposure.
Who was it that thought honeypot? We'll don even that person. Looks like it was Erickson

He's hardly an oil painting himself. And apparently this picture of him is from 15 years ago!

Sarah sanders stepped in to put her foot in it. She tried to claim trump was saying no to more questions from reporters and not "no" to whether Russia is still meddling.

Sanders later says reporters should "quit going after" the Trump admin "on every single thing."

The thing is, trump went on to answer questions from 4 other reporters after that.

There's got to be a special place in hell for sanders...

Roger Stone still hanging on by his fingernails?
"At least five prosecutors from Mueller's office and two attorneys representing Andrew Miller, a former Roger Stone associate, spent almost 90 minutes in a sealed court proceeding before Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the DC District Court Wednesday morning

Plus we're dealing with a bunch of out of shape (Paul Ryan aside) middle aged guys. It's not like they're particularly hot themselves.

Her press conferences are so predictable. She herself has been utterly brainwashed.

To be brainwashed, one must first possess a brain.

Apparently Trump is now claiming that he told Putin face to face that he holds Putin responsible for meddling in the 2016 election. And gave a very strong message that it can’t happen again.

Of course he did. Totally. And then he pulled out the flaming sword of dobber, mounted his dragon and flew three laps around Helsinki.

So during their press conference when Putin said it was nonsense that they'd interfered, why was Trump nodding in agreement?
