So now, some bod at the United Nations has warned everybody that things are very serious and all sorts of nasty things will happen due to "climate change".
Guess what? It's happened before - thirty years ago.
I really am surprised at how gullible a lot of people are nowadays.Guess what? It's happened before - thirty years ago.

1. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-505...
"A critical 12 months in the battle against rising temperatures begins in Madrid this week, as UN delegates gather for key talks."
Where is the scientific data for it being 12 months?
2. "The UN Secretary General warned delegates ahead of the meeting "the point of no return was no longer over the horizon"."
OK, so as you can now seen it, when is the point of no return? Date please
The problem this is all hyperbole from politics yet again because they are policicians.
I'm pretty sure there is human caused climate warming but it's a tricky subject and needs more investigation whilst humans reduce that side whilst also putting some food on the table for their family. Something the IPCC forgets from their well paid positions.

Sorry if it’s already been mentioned but has anyone watched ‘Meat: A threat to our planet’? (it’s on iplayer with the lovely Liz Bonin).
Apparently meat production is responsible for more greenhouse gasses than all of our transportation from cars, trucks, planes and shipping combined.

Have I missed your point?
That picture has been around for many, many years with anyone trying a 'Prince Andrew' on it...

Kelly is a controversial ultra-right political figure so it's no surprise you have his musings on tap.
Not on tap but I get news feeds which even you might manage if you try.Returning to relevance, are you saying that left wingers wouldn't report on climate data diddling?
Your comment makes no difference at all to what happened with the data.
Another shoot-the-messenger ad hom fallacy bites the dust.
Once in his head they are lower than him sub human right wing ( obviously dog whistle for racist) , they can be attacked verbally and physically with impunity, ignored.

Yes I watched it sadly. It's the biggest pile of utter rubbish I've ever seen on BBC and that's saying something.Apparently meat production is responsible for more greenhouse gasses than all of our transportation from cars, trucks, planes and shipping combined.
Liz Bonnin has gone down in my estimation as she has bull stted a huge number of otherwise confused people with this propaganda video. Where to start? I'd be here for the rest of the week giving you some actual facts rather than the stream of lies from that programme.
Taking just one actual fact: the entire agriculture industry worldwide is responsible for 10% of global emissions, and that's both animal and crop combined, of which animals contribute about half. Contrast that with the other 90%, most of which are coming from energy, homes, industrial and transport. That puts it all in perspective. Even in the US, which was held up as a horrific offender when it comes to animal emissions, the figure from livestock farming is 3.5%. Their emissions are so low precisely because their systems are so efficient. I'm not saying I agree with everything that goes on around the world in lvestock farming but hoodwinking people into believing they're helping the environment by not eating meat is a ridiculous cul-de-sac which will help no one, least of all the people who try to go vegan as a result of all this propaganda.
Liz Bonnin actually spoke to some proper medium scale livestock farmers making that programme, as well as the big boys in America or just looking out of a plane (lol!!), but she couldn't include those interviews as it didn't fit her narrative. I've seen one of these clips and she clearly didn't know how to fit it in without spoiling the overall tone. The sop to the Good Lifers in Wales was just pathetic.
God help her if Joe Rogan and Chris Kresser ever do an analysis of her programme.

Indeed. The cwimate emergency is so serious that 25,000 delegates simply had to attend. No doubt they all travelled there by the power of fairy farts. Hypocritical fkers. 1. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-505...

On the political side, I think we've almost reached 'peak hysteria'. More and more feeds on line and people in general are waking up to the fact that this utter hysterical bilge is political in nature.
We can but hope. jshell said:

We can but hope. There’s much more about climate change on the tv etc. It’s something talked about loads in the election.
I don’t see any evidence myself to support your statement that “people are waking up to the fact that this utter hysterical bilge is political in nature“
Yougov in September had a big focus on climate change
https://yougov.co.uk/topics/science/articles-repor...
Which indicated pretty widespread public support for AGW science.
There was another one about conspiracy theories
https://yougov.co.uk/topics/science/articles-repor...
Obviously you’ve said people are waking up which might suggest the tide is only beginning to turn, it’s harder to find polls which show how views have changed over time. This is an American one from Yale,
https://climatecommunication.yale.edu/publications...
Again it doesn’t support your view that “ people are waking up to the fact that this utter hysterical bilge is political in nature“
