Maybe a good time to be buying shares... scratchchin
My initial reaction.
I think might put a cheeky couple of grand down. Long term the risk shouldn't be too bad.
Lovely.
Gone up have they?
Just a bit...
Good luck with them! biggrin

Mine have gone today. Bought at 0.49 sold at 0.91. I could do with a few more deals like that this year!

£0.91? Desire? A shipmate of mine bought some Rockhopper shares at £0.50 a while ago; now trading at about £1.95 and hit a high of £2.50ish yesterday. He's fairly happy ATM!

Is it worth investing in arms companies who have contracts with the Argies? wink

I'll buy a few BAE Systems shares and it'll be a win-win situation! wink

Is it pretty easy to buy a few shares in companies like this? Or are you guys talking about thousands? Or, do you bet on them in much the same way you would on a game of sport, or the election outcome, which i also should have put some money on, being 100% right.

I must say I feel upset and disappointed that we haven't deployed some Tridents onto Buenos Aires yet. It may be our last chance to use them now that the Lib Dems have a say.

Not unless you want to get right royally fked by Vince being in Govt.

Trust me on this one, myself and several thousand BAE employees and ex like me have already suffered to the tune of thousands of pounds at the hands of Vince fking Cable and he wasnt anywhere near the Treasury then.

I bought a couple of grands worth, but you can buy any amount. You get charged a fee of ~10 quid a trade so very small purchases don't make a huge amount of sense.

With one or two other things grabbing our attention in the world of late, I almost forgot to post this from last week.
