Crimewatch and the missing £600k. Another point of view in the comments though. Who cares? Everyone that was scammed was an SNP supporter. If you are stupid enough to trust the SNP to run the country you almost deserve to get scammed.

It more the point rather than the amount.
If this is what they can find what is impossible to find or yet to be found.

Given the SNP’s complete lack of imagination, I expect Useless to secure 70%+ in the first vote.
Given their corruption, I expect him to get 101% of it.

Given an ounce of imagination, he’d win with 55%.

If he gets 38%, does that mean him not getting the first minister post is going against the will of the Scottish population?

Im going to say Humza needs 45%+ first choice ballots to win.
Anything less and I think Forbes has it.

I can see us at the polls by christmas anywaycas the house of cards collapses in Sturgeons wake.

If Yousless doesn't take it on the first count (ie. 50% +1) then I think he's toast because supporters of either of the other two are highly unlikely to place him second.

Having said that, if he does win the stench of a fix will follow him all the way to his eventual (and hopefully swift) removal.

PS. If Hapless does lead after the first count but loses on the countback expect the toys to come out the pram and there to be open warfare between him and whoever takes it. Forbes has already trashed his reputation and his ego won't take the loss lightly.

Can anyone shed light on why the big drinks companies want the DRS scheme to go ahead ?
I’d have thought they’d be against it due to the downturn in sales ?
There must be something in it for them me thinks.

Because it ain’t for the environment or littering, that’s for sure.

Because they are hoping that the costs involved (that they can initially afford to absorb) will kill-off or remove from the market their smaller competition leading to an overall net increase in profits.

I suspect they will also use the opportunity to increase the price citing additional admin costs and blame the government while pocketing more cash.

It also wouldn't surprise me if the major players haven't been offered some sort of "sweetener" to get on board.

I suspect it will also allow them to iron out all the issues prior to the UK scheme being launched in a few years.

Anyone know if the UK are letting the DRS scheme go ahead? Seems like restriction of trade if it stops me bulk buying drinks from England for delivery.
.I see to recall the incompetent Slater only asked for a waiver in the last month or so.

Probably suits the UK to see the new leader before deciding anything Scotland related though

I hadn't realised the FM still needs to be voted in tomorrow, could be funny if there was an upset.

I believe in that scenario, Nicola Sturgeon will be kept on as First Minister against her will, and will immediately start a campaign to allow her to submit her resignation again in a few years time smile
