Sometimes there is just too much to read - or the posts are long winded and badly constructed so I end up either skim reading or skipping. Apologies if that sounds a bit rude.

And sometimes a point is worth repeating as the original post may get overlooked with all the other stuff that keeps emerging.

The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has opened an investigation into whether the Donald J. Trump Foundation violated state tax laws, a move that could lead to a criminal referral for possible prosecution.

So this is an attack on the trump family, who were trustees as the donald used the money as his personal checkbook

Still, he's got to pay for all those legal bills and facebooks ads somehow. Currently running through his 2020 campaign fund...

A new study by researchers at New York University has discovered that President Trump and his political action committee (PAC) spent $274,000 on ads on Facebook since early May 2018 — the most of any other political ad spender.

https://github.com/online-pol-ads/FBPoliticalAds/b...

It’s worth noting that the researchers found 43,575 cases in the archive where ads didn’t identify a sponsor. This means the person who purchased the ad didn’t follow Facebook’s new verification process.

Depressing but not a surprise really

No overall impact on Trump's ratings
Surprise surprise
Dunno about this. Rasmussen's daily polling shows a marked downturn over the last few days. Whether it lasts is a different question.

I'd love to see his rating drop into the thirties with Rasmussen. I should imagine he'd never mention them again!

Fake news getting it today. He’s really playing the diversion card today. The media want to see a war with Russia? Give me a break.

Hold on - he castigated Germany for having a sizeable economic relationship with Russia. How can he boast America has better relationships with Russia than anybody else - especially when he will attack another country for forming good relationships with Russia..

The man is an utter bellend.

You found my posts long-winded and badly constructed? I'll try and dumb them right down for you in future then.

I wasn't referring to anyone specific. Even some of mine might be a bit wordy at times.

Thinking back.
We know that russian oligarch Leonard Blatavnik gave $7.35m to the GOP, allowed because he had dual nationality.

We know Mitch McConnel took $2.5m of that and it was revealed last week that he was instrumental in not allowing Obama to announce during the election about the russian interference.

Scott Walker took $1.1m, and he's now linked with Butina and the NRA funding, the Governor of Winsconsin that trump surprisingly won by 0.72%, in a state that had overwhelmingly gone Democrat for the previous 4 elections, one of the states where the voting databases were hacked...

Marco Rubio got $1m and has constantly run interference for trump, the latest is he's saying it's not practical to have trumps translator testify to Congress
http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/07/18/rubio-dems-c...

trump got $1m of that money as well...

Follow the money trail - it's all there.

Presumably a private jet was used based on these prices:

"According to the documents released through a Freedom of Information Act request, the protective agency spent about $125,000 on airfare, another $75,000 on hotel rooms, and $15,000 more on other expenses such as transportation."

Also, $75k on hotel rooms! Did they stay at the Burj?

Bet they chartered Dotards plane and stayed at his hotel, therefore funneling more money in to pay the legal battles hehe

This part is interesting too:

"A similar trip to Dubai to attend a wedding in April cost only $73,000, CREW reported. The nonprofit organization did not offer an explanation why the 2017 trip cost "significantly more."

Moscow are now worried that the summit has backfired and will now cause relations with Russia to deteriorate as Trump is 'being eaten alive'.
