That report is from January

Quite sad that a large portion of the country are happy to turn a blind eye to outright propaganda by newspapers with owners with vested interests

I see it again and again. Dead tree press or new media- the principle is the same, everyone has an agenda.

She's actually been spotted in her constituency? http://www.indyref2.co.uk/SNP-Councillor-Mhairi-Hu...
There's an election on then?
No money from Holyrood to Combat so-called 'rape clause'.
I suppose the get-out clause in this particular falsehood is that Nicola's idea of 'our share of the savings' is an overinflated guesstimate (using the patented Salmond method of economic calculations), and will cry foul over the Fiscal Framework despite John Swinney and herself being signatories to the agreement.
This is a new low in blatantly misleading falsehood by Sturgeon IMO. Is this incompetence, or a wilful attempt to distract attention from the fact that the Scottish Government have their eyes on the windfall from the 'so called rape clause' and would like to spend it on something else?
ETA. I get it now - the return of welfare savings has been deferred since the Fiscal Framework was passed at the request of the Scottish Government because they claimed they were not yet ready to handle the administration, so what Nicola failed to add at the end of her quote was that 'they keep hold of that because we asked them to'. The money is there if Nicola wants it - all she has to do is turn the tap on.

When the Tories make cuts like limiting child tax credits....., they don’t pass onto the Scottish Government our share of the savings – they keep hold of that.
Liar liar pants on fire. Page two of the Fiscal Framework is 100% crystal clear on the issue.I suppose the get-out clause in this particular falsehood is that Nicola's idea of 'our share of the savings' is an overinflated guesstimate (using the patented Salmond method of economic calculations), and will cry foul over the Fiscal Framework despite John Swinney and herself being signatories to the agreement.

"A briefing document published by the Scottish government admitted that the teacher shortage had become a “major policy issue”. It said that fewer teachers were going on training courses or earning new qualifications to improve their abilities as a result of it.
In some cases, this was because a lack of cover meant they could not be spared from classrooms to spend time learning new skills. In others, however, teachers saw little point in training or earning extra qualifications because a lack of competition for jobs meant it was unnecessary. Cuts to school and council budgets had also put pressure on “professional learning activities”.
Ministers have said that improving the quality of teachers is a key part of their strategy for raising attainment and closing the achievement gap between rich and poor, and have voiced support for “career-long professional learning” within the profession.

I hope everyone is voting today.
Green party candidate didn't look too hopeful when I pulled up outside the polling place in a big V8 van![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
First thing this morning, second one to vote in my polling place. Only a lonesome SNP hopeful standing outside. Makes a change from the SNP strategically placed cars with signs all over them on the way to the polling centre and the SNP bunting all over the place like it usually is. However I might swing by on the way home to see if they're up to their usual tricks. Green party candidate didn't look too hopeful when I pulled up outside the polling place in a big V8 van

I hope you gave it a good few revs to see the look on the green party candidates face!

Unfortunately the polling place is only about 100 ft from my door so didn't really have an excuse to drive the F350 along.
(I had considered attaching some union flags with Thatcher's face on and parking it next to the Suzuki Jimny which is emblazoned with SNP paraphernalia but figured the backlash wouldn't be worth it.)

It's a line from a brilliant comedy sketch done by Kevin Bridges, a work mate and I were laughing about it today, so being 29 going on 13 I thought "why not". Me should say mine by the by
