Voters are silly.
It says 1,2,3 and so on, on the paper, the boards at the booths and inside each booth.

Honestly, how dense are people?!

We did have some rather amusing arguements between the SNP and one of the independent candidate groupies.

hehe

A Tory Councillor in Feegie Park?!

What's going on?!
Its almost as if people are voting Tory as a protest vote to show their disapproval of the current SNP administration..

Swing from Labour and SNP in my council area, it's now a dead tie for control.

I'm curious about this...

Number of candidates:

SNP 625
Labour 453
Conservatives 380
Lib Dems 247
Scottish Greens are fielding 219
Independent candidates 499
148 from other parties.

If you look at the results for Stirling West, Stirling East, Stirling North for example...

http://my.stirling.gov.uk/services/council-and-gov...

It would suggest had the Conservatives had more candidates they could have made even more gains. I wonder why they didn't?

Oh, how sad.

"Sturgeon name fails in Irvine election for second time within the space of one year

First Minister's father Robin has been defeated in a council election after only receiving 681 votes in Irvine South."
