it seems most if not all Labour luvvies think the people that vote for them are as thick as two short planks.

Good point.

He ought to have quietened Thornberry early on in the programme to stop her running off at the mouth so much.

An elbow jab in her earhole would have worked perfectly.
why? I would assume he's giving the stupid no-mark enough rope to hang herself with....
I would agree in principle but not to let her bang on to the point that no-one else could hardly get a word in or if they did she would talk over them.

Ill-mannered condescending cow.

Wow, Thornberry is quite the waste of space isn't she?

So much of political wrongness in one useless MP. Labour is really on a roll...
She looked such a tw*t holding the '170 questions' up, as though she saw it as some kind of Magna Carta.
And she did a terrible job of answering the bloke in the audience who asked her how her party would answer the questions which was a great point.

In fact I thought that the audience yesterday made an excellent contribution to the programme.

He could have done both. Let her hang herself then poke her in the ear?

Agreed, although his first contribution seemed fairly reasonable. Second time round though full on looney!

Dimbleby must've felt sorry for the lad (hair etc) as you don't often get to give two contributions ...

Was it Thornberry who thought it unfair and sexist when asked if she knew who the French Foreign Minister was?

Admittedly I'd have to look it up. Then again, I'm not the Shadow Foreign Secretary.

It takes some guts to ask Thornberry a question about the real world. She knows nothing outside the Westminster bubble.

Not often such a point is put to Andrew Neil though, unsurprisingly he didn't agree.
Well he was quite right in correcting her, it was nice to see how little the whole lot of them agreed with her.
She's an empty head talk piece usually for the more extreme idiocy, she reminds me of a softer thicker version of Ann Coulter. biggrin
