Thinking back.
We know that russian oligarch Leonard Blatavnik gave $7.35m to the GOP, allowed because he had dual nationality.

We know Mitch McConnel took $2.5m of that and it was revealed last week that he was instrumental in not allowing Obama to announce during the election about the russian interference.

Scott Walker took $1.1m, and he's now linked with Butina and the NRA funding, the Governor of Winsconsin that trump surprisingly won by 0.72%, in a state that had overwhelmingly gone Democrat for the previous 4 elections, one of the states where the voting databases were hacked...

Marco Rubio got $1m and has constantly run interference for trump, the latest is he's saying it's not practical to have trumps translator testify to Congress
http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/07/18/rubio-dems-c...

trump got $1m of that money as well...

Follow the money trail - it's all there.
Another interesting thing about Winsconsin, trumps mate Sheriff David Clarke, who took a trip to Moscow in 2016, funded by a pro-gun group named “The Right to Bear Arms,” thats right - started by Butina

We know from many sources that team trump were trying to set up back channel private communications with Putin.

If I was the US intelligence agencies, I'd be looking for the active one, because it seems fairly obvious that trump has a private open channel to Putin. These meetings without any preparation are just too conveniently being set up etc

Although, if Mueller has any proof that Putin was directly responsible, wouldn't that be interesting if he issues an indictment against Putin, just as trump invites him to the US...

So no collusion with Russia?

I had to double and triple check this tweet was real this morning and it is:

https://twitter.com/MollyJongFast/status/102010191...

For you who don't want to use the link, it is tweet from Feb 2016 from Alexander Torshin, a Russian Banker tied to Putin and it says

"Maria Butina is now in the United States. Writes to me that D. Trump (member of NRA) is really for cooperation" that's a direct translate from Russian.

Maria Butina was the Russian Spy arrested this week.

Straight from Russian channel one!!

So Trump posts a clip of Clinton talking about a different president of Russia but thinks it's discussing Putin, then moans about fake news.

Astounding.

The Butina indictment has opened up so many avenues of investigation, revealing many, many more connections with the russians and team trump, over and above the 75+ meetings we know they had.

And yet most of his supporters will jump on this as more evidence of HRC being the devil incarnate and DJT being the holy saviour because Bannon's message of "Fake News" is really working as his tactic of discrediting the US Intelligence services so that when the FBI start proceedings there will be some doubt for some people about the veracity of the charges.

Putin can keep trickling bits like this out for weeks and no-one can dispute it - rather like Kim did after their meeting.
Putin tells his diplomats he made ANOTHER offer to Trump -- hold a referendum in Crimea on its future. Trump asked Putin NOT to disclose it so that he could consider it.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-19...

So trump offered to legitimise Russia's annexation of Crimea, for which sanctions were applied. Is this another route the russians are trying to get sanctions dropped?

9 definitely did, possibly up to 13, then there's a couple of journalists...
When the russians are reporting someone died of a heart attack but was found with severe head injuries...
Just to quantify this:

But any referendum would be rigged anyway.

Here's a tinfoil hat/conspiracy theory/nutjob hypothesis to ponder.

Putin meddled in the election. That's a given.

The purpose of the meddling was multifacted: to damage HRC should she win; to damage her perhaps enough to ensure she didn't win; to help Trump; to leave a question mark over a Trump victory.

On any view the purpose of the meddling has been achieved - there's a growing question mark over Trump.

During the Trump presidency, Putin encourages that question mark to grow. Trump's role is not that of a Russian agent, or even someone who has colluded with Russia. He is the classic useful idiot: someone who has allegiance to their native country but who can be manipulated into acting in ways that damage that country.

Putin's next step is to set Trump us as a traitor. Plant little seeds that eventually lead to Trump being exposed - perhaps falsely - as advancing Russia's interests or his own interests in preference to the US's interests.

The point? Undermining faith in the US Government, the US political system, the US electoral system, and the US as a whole.

Of course the fallout could be massive. But Putin will remain nine steps removed from the coal face at all times, and maintain a series of poker faced denials.

It's a potentially devastating plan.

I think there is some serious merit in that. 21st century wars are fought in different ways now, and Russia is winning.
