Still gotta love Trump's policies, that he'll replace anything he doesn't like with, 'something terrific.' biggrin

Don't tell me I go out for the night and I've missed Unrep's early meltdown?

Don't ban him, it's the best laugh I've had for ages. He's got to be here for the aftermath: either to gloat about a Hilary landslide or face up to a Trump victory.

Do you know I think this really is a big part of his appeal.

Everyone's had enough of weaselly politicians who promise things but have never done anything in their lives and achieve nothing (think Miliband over here) whilst feathering their own nests.

Trump's approach is simple and understandable and despite all the slurs he IS seen as a successful businessman with Trump buildings all over the place and his Apprentice persona. Rightly or wrongly he is an alpha male leader type with a reputation for getting things done so people sort of trust him when he says he'll do "something terrific". For most people that's as far as they get with politics.

Like most I think he does come across as odious (although those close to him seem to think he's great) and my main interest is following the betting...but I am looking forward to see what he can do in office if he wins. I don't buy into the dangerous stuff at all: business people get on with people and do deals (often using bluster to achieve their aims).

BleachBit are now selling a "Cloth or Something" that you can buy on their website laugh

https://www.bleachbit.org/cloth-or-something

BleachBit said:
August 2015 Hillary Clinton was asked, "Did you wipe your email server?" and she evasively replied, "Like with a cloth or something?" A year later we found out that "cloth" was BleachBit, a software application that deletes information "so even God can't read it," as Congressman Trey Gowdy announced August 2016.

  • After you have smashed your BlackBerry, don't forget to wipe the fingerprints from your email server with this non-abrasive, soft microfiber Cloth or Something.
  • Thin, foldable size makes it easy to stash the Cloth or Something in burn bags.
  • 6" x 6" size quickly wipes even the biggest email servers with thousands of emails.
  • Buy an extra cloth for your VIP (VERY VIP) client.
  • Optionally autographed on the back by Andrew, creator of BleachBit.
  • Printed in the USA!
  • Guaranteed not to prove intent, or you will get a full refund paid when you are released from prison.
  • First-class shipping and handling is a flat rate of $2 per order.
  • Yes, this cloth is real, and you can really buy it.
Don't wait for a subpoena: Order Now!

Jokes aside, that's one of the lines from her trainwreck of a campaign that is difficult to forget. The level of narcissm and disregard for law required to publicly make that statement are quite revealing.

Dunno, but this is how I envisage it went:

Unrepentant reading this thread:

Then:

It's not the thread. Months ago he had a certain confidence. Batting away comments with flippant disregard. Now Trump is in the lead and gaining. And we all now more bad news is coming for Clinton. Wiki Leaks will release more info in the coming days. It looks like Trump is going to win. It's a TREXIT all over again. The country will get what is deserves and i have no sympathy. They should have found a better candidate than Clinton who is clearly disliked by half the voting public.

Well they had one, but you can't get the sort of financial backing HRC got and be a decent candidate. smile

Interesting that video I just posted makes a point of the fact that Clinto has no real policy she is pushing other than Trump bad me not so bad.

Trump for the last two and a half weeks has been bang on message and has been keeping to policy plans in opposition to Clinto who is constantly going on about how horrid he is.

To me it looks like he is smarter than Clinton gave him credit and she has just got brilliantly played by him.

I don't want to rain on your parade but Trump is in the lead in one poll, the bookies have shortened Clinton to 1/3 again.
The Trump camp would of been better if the revelations about emails happened today by the time next tuesday comes round things will have simmered.
Just my opinion, I might be wrong.
I'm guessing quite a few people don't really know why this email saga is such a big thing they just go along with whatever someone else says.

Normally useless looking at one single poll

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_pol... is unbiased and probably the easiest way to dissect the multiple polls and dimensions to this race.

Worth noting again that when a liberal anti-secrecy group of Wiki's stature chooses to attack Clinton over Trump, that should tell you a lot in itself. smile

Cameron was 10/1 to get a majority at one point, 6/1 for a lot of the time prior to the last general election.

This £30k bet was at 7/1:

As to what will happen with Clinton, who knows. Not bookies.

Edited to get the odds right.

I know that Clinton using her own mail is 'not on' but I also think there is a huge amount (from being there the other week) of almost envy insofar as "the Clintons get away with murder. Why should she get away with it now" in the populace.
And hence hatred on that.

In the grand scheme of things, however, is it really a big fking deal about some emails, clandestine communications and such in comparison to what Prime ministers and Presidents have done in fabricating cases for war, sending troops to be killed and maimed, signing off on detention (waterboarding) centres, and alike ?
My view is, that it isn't

Carry on.
Clinton supported those same actions. She got people killed (Bengazi) she lied about getting people killed (Bengazi) she is suspected of having people killed who had got in her way (The wonder of rumours and paranoia)

Has Trump got any detailed policies? All he says about Obamacare is that he'll replace it with something terrific.. no details at all.
Same with his speeches about getting the industrial areas back into high employment - no suggestion how. Would it be subsidies, trade sanctions or how?
