Post-op or not, you just can't say that about them.

Yellow card.

I was thinking about previously banned posters - get thrown out of the pub in a false moustache and immediately start yelling at everyone again.

How is she going to obliterate the Olympics when she hasn't even qualified and came 5th in the penultimate qualification having only made two clean lifts in her past nine international competitions?

Just look at "her". I can see why female athletes aren't happy.

Kind of sums it up really, its got nothing to do with her athletic performance or the fact she is struggling to qualify, much like no other trans person is known to have qualified for the Olympics in near 20 years of eligibility But look at her! That is prejudice right there i'm afraid.

It's not prejudice, it's just basic biology.

????

She has the testosterone level of a man, and all the benefits raised t levels bring (larger muscles, quicker recovery, greater oxygen uptake). It doeasn't matter how /where she competes it will be unfair if she competes against women. To these athletes competition is their lives and training is all they do, and when a race/result can be determined by a split second a level and fair field is crucial, I'm sure you agree.

Why did you cut it off there to deliberately mislead and ignore what i said about the reality of all the advantages you claim (which are mostly untrue) she has despite the reality of her results as she is not winning, obliterating or even qualifying for the competition she is supposed to do all those things in.

And you left out the bit I was responding to about it just being about not liking how she looked.

On rare occasions we have to call a spade a spade, and that there is a JCB with every single possible idea about being a woman about to be obliterated when he fails to qualify.

It makes perfect sense as she competes with the testosterone levels of a man. It's unfortunate for her, but it's even more unfortunate and unfair for the hundreds of other women competitiors. Common sense prevailed, thankfully.
Common sense hasn't prevailed because if Caster Semenya qualifies and competes in any other events she can do so with her current hormone levels. The IAAF has decided on a testosterone level for events from 400m to one mile but nowhere else.

Note the ellipsis at the end of your 'cut off' quote. It means I've taken into account your whole statement before posting my reply.

The advantages are completely true. If you have any new groundbreaking research results on the effects of testosterone there are endocrinology depts at various hospitals I've dealt with who would love to hear from you. Until then I suggest you keep quiet.

Really? you'd have though if that was the case she would be listed in the medals table.

Lets just get rid of all the different classes and have the human race weight lifting championship. See how long before that causes uproar.

It's quite true, wherever you stand on this debate the use of that dictionary definition is a dog whistle.

Same trick, more explicitly, going on here

Dictionaries are descriptive, not prescriptive.
Love the description of the moon underneath the marriage heading in your link, pure tin-foil hattery...
She seems a little... eccentric.

Well if you hadn't of confused yourself so much with out of context quoting and follow the comments back to what they relate to you would have realised the comments were in regards to Laura Hubbard who is trans not Casta semenya who is intersex.

I'm not sure Laura would do very well in the 800m dash.

That said I’m not sure how Laura Hubbard’s competitors feel about her turning in
1st 2017, 2019 Oceania Championships
1st 2017, 2019 Commonwealth Championships
1st 2019 Pacific Games
1st 2019 Worldmasters Games

Step back for a minute and consider whether this seems ‘fair’?

That's 4 medals over three years in restricted international competition. Zero in open world competition, How many would have been ok?

I'm guessing less than none.

Not just 4 medals: that’s 6 (see years) in gold.
Cmon what’s your view on ‘fair’?

Sorry, missed the 2nd dates. So 6 in restricted competition over three years, big whoop.

I'm guessing you wouldn't like my idea of fair so I won't hit submit on that post, but here's a hint. Was it fair to the kid in school with Phelps, or regionals with Farrah, nationals with bolt?

But go on how many would be acceptable for a trans women to win?
