Again, you're ignoring the context argument.

She has a history of harassment. If you knew that, would you still approach? Or does your privileged position mean you're afraid of no one?
As an educated guess I'd aasume that most women going to an abortion clinic wouldn't know who this woman was, or her history. They'd just see some oddball praying.
If you googled that abortion clinic she was the first hit for her sustained protests and harassment outside, which is why such protests were already prohibited outside.

The level of privilege and ignorance in this thread is incredible.

No she wasn't. No one can seriously class one person in silent prayer as a protest. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
What's the difference between silent prayer outside an abortion clinic and Just Stop Oil standing in the road?

I'll ask another question though. If it was different woman praying, with no affiliation to those bodies, would that be ok?
No. Anyone who seriously believes that they can communicate with supernatural beings and makes choices on behalf of others as a result of these beliefs is a menace to society and should undergo psychiatric assessment as a priority.
Well that escalated quickly.

Really? Any belief in a religion (monotheistic, polytheistic, animistic) immediately invalidates their rights?

Good job! Impressive!
I don't believe that I said anything about her rights, just questioning the sanity of those who genuinely believe that they can talk to God and think that they can instruct others how to live their lives because of that delusion

Then why are you so anti-immigration?
It's mostly illegal immigration I'm against, though also mass immigration to the point it creates ghettos and subcultures whose values are at odds with the existing cultute because I don't think this is conducive to a happy, peaceful society.

We could solve the illegality just by making it legal for anyone to come here. Wouldn't solve the issue of them being the wrong sort of people, I guess. I wonder how many of those 1000 pregnancies were also the wrong sort of people?

You could do the same for murder too. Don't give them ideas.

I'd like to think people are made right or wrong after they are born. Or are you just calling me racist?

People are born into subcultures.

The ignorance seems to come from those who consider silent prayer to be harassment, when the law appears to think otherwise.

She claims it was silent prayer wink

Bit odd actually. I thought the bible was a bit against lying.

I don't think anyone is considering the act of silent prayer to be harassment (because prayer isn't a thing) it is where she chooses to position herself for the protest, which is.

Standing still is still a protest, especially if you're called Just Stop Oil, right?

Nobody minds JSO standing still on the pavement.

And I don't mind anti-abortion protestors protesting 150m away from an abortion clinic.

Context.

If harassment isn't her intention why doesn't she offer her silent prayers from her kitchen? I'm no expert on summoning supernatural beings with your thoughts to try and change what other people want to do but I'm pretty sure that you don't need line of sight to the intended target.

But it was silent prayer. No one is arguing otherwise. That's exactly what she was doing. What makes you say "she claims it was silent prayer". What info do you have that the rest of us don't.

How do you know if someone has internal monologue in their head?

Do you need to be a deity or an MRI scanner?

Because, nobody who wanted to Pickett an abortion clinic would tell the truth. It would be counter productive and not newsworthy.

Besides that, it was obvious that such a story would pander to all the false virtue signallers everywhere.

Why does anyone go to church, the mosque, the Vatican, the wailing wall, Mecca? It's not a new thing for believers to believe prayers said at certain location are more likely to be heard.

People who are saying "clearly this was a protest or else she wouldn't have blah blah blah" are just guessing. Even if they are right, they are still guessing. As protest at the clinic wasn't allowed, let's assume for a moment she decided not to protest, but just to go along and stand in silent prayer, praying for god to shut the clinic, for god to make the women change their mind, etc.

So a woman turns up to go into the clinic and there's a random woman praying outside. That's not a protest, harassment, intimidation, etc. The woman who sees her has no idea if she's waiting for a mate, praying for the the success of the clinic, waiting for an Uber having just come out of the clinic, waiting for her daughter who is having an abortion etc. No idea at all.
