There was some Tory boy type on the radio yesterday. He trying to explained why he had dishonestly obtained a vote in the Labour leadership ballot and that he had voted for Mr Corbyn. I was thinking what a . But also wouldn't it be a giggle if Corbyn won and lead the party to a victory at the next election. Tory boy and his cohorts would be laughing on the other side of their faces.
Be careful what you wish for.

Indeed it would. It'll be even funnier if Labour vanish into the wilderness if Corbyn becomes leader Be careful what you wish for.

Was he? Well good! Be careful what you wish for.
If, for the sake of argument, the Tories devised such a foolish system to elect their next leader, we can vouchsafe you would be on here braying like a donkey that you'd voted for Michael Fabricant or whoever.
Anyway Labour's election system encapsulates their utter incompetence and demonstrates why they are unfit to rule. Plus I t's hilarious to the rest of us.

If you think its funny so far wait until he wins its going to be mental. Tony Blair may actually leave the Country andwhat a result that would be. Anyone who has paid the joining fee must be entitled to vote the fact the stupid people in the party couldn't run a sweet shop is their problem for the rest of us its the best entertainment we have had for some time. If, for the sake of argument, the Tories devised such a foolish system to elect their next leader, we can vouchsafe you would be on here braying like a donkey that you'd voted for Michael Fabricant or whoever.

At least Jeremy Corbyn will actually be easy to identify as an opposition leader rather than a Westminster clone.

IMHO this is true. Corbyn does speak honestly and probably has more integrity than all the other candidates put together. The problem is Corbyn's honest views and intents make a lot of folk, who can remember the disaster of the 70's, 'itch' even more!
Liz Kendall is willing to point out at meetings that there is a limit to how much the govt can spend even knowing she will get howled down for it. Jeremy Corbyn tells the comrades what he knows they want to hear and he is the one praised as a conviction politician. The PLP have no one but themselves to blame, the election would have been fine IF they hadn't decided to give their support to Corbyn to have a left winger on the ticket, a ridiculous decision taken by the feckless fools and they now been hoist by their own petard.
It shows that they viewed the process as some sort of internal Labour game, whereby they could allow in the token lefty to make themselves feel good about life. But it isn't an internal game as they are trying to elect the next prospective labour PM which should have been a serious business.
The real kicker for Cooper and Burnham is how much better a politician Corbyn is than them.

First, this is about getting power ...full stop.
The only power however being the leadership of the party, there is zero attempt to speak to the public, they are talking only to the tiny membership rump.
Corbyn is not an effective politician, he is playing an internal corporate take over game.

I didn't say he was a good politician just better than the others.....
As far as your additional point about speaking to the wider public the BBC have been covering this like a general election you'd have to be living under a stone not to have heard them or been able to see the debates.

Or alternatively; you know those of us who complain about the licence fee? I haven't seen any BBC coverage, because I don't watch the BBC.Andy Zarse said:
