On helensburgh seafront are 2 banners, side by side,SNP & Tory, but someone, can't think who, has put another banner in Tory blue next to the main one that says
"And get austerity, rape clause, Dementia tax," etc
Low trick IMHO
Sounds typical of the 'burg. Million pound homes within walking distance of schemes that resemble downtown Kabul and the sort of people you expect in the same.

Perhaps the drizzle will keep them in front of the telly/ipad/etc instead of voting; the weather is set for a low turn-out.

its not pissing in the rain though . The same here despite living in quite a high value homes area we are linked to a large town of LAbour voters but I think you have to still register your vote. At least we can moan with some credibility later.
It was pissing with rain. I was pissing in the wind voting Tory.

A steady trickle of older folk voting when I went along at 5, the only persons under 30 were a solitary SNP person stood by the door and one of the folk doing the admin in the polling station. I live in gifferville though, so I wouldn't read anything into it.

Unprecedented; I've just been canvassed again! A telephone canvasser just called and asked if I had voted. They're really pushing the boat out, I bet that's a fun job with no danger of getting sworn at down the phone. :-/

What would happen if Scotland gave more Conservative votes than England and Labour get into Westminster? Would the SNP demand that Scottish Conservatives are under represented in Westminster and this is a reason for another referendum idealaugh

The SNP would demand another referendum on the grounds that their deep fried Mars Bar didn't taste nice! Any old excuse

It seems too good to be true but time will tell.

Don't believe anything until the final polling results are in. It's an encouraging start though

Disappointingly for her she will be spending another 5 years in the fleshpots of London pissing away her hard earned expenses. She won't enjoy it though.
