No 1 trend on Twitter #Corbynwasright

As usual Twitter trying to demonstrate a point by being totally and utterly wrong.

Then listen to the Corbynite Claudia Webbe car crash interview on radio 4 this morning. Labour are in deeper trouble than even we can imagine. Dear God. Someone that Momentum parachuted into a safe Labour seat.
https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/12/new-corbynit...
That interview was an utter car crash! Deluded doesn’t even come close.
They really are in trouble. Boris can more or less do what he wants for the next 10 or 15 years, there is no chance of Labour becoming electable during that time if they keep going as they are.

She is lucky to get elected. Massive swing to the conservatives because the local party didn't like a parachuted in candidate. The chairman of the local party resigned over the matter as they wanted a local Hindu candidate. The conservative s fielded a Hindu candidate an picked up lots of votes.

I struggle to understand how anyone voted for her.

Jeez. This woman is an MP. Just shows how bad the standards for an MP are.

I really don't know what the people of Leicester East have done wrong to deserve this.In 1983 we ended up with a Tory lunatic who put his name foreward to be public hangman. He is now some bigwig in the church of England. Then we had Keith Vaz who was okay to start with but became power crazed as the years went on.Now we are represented by a Communist in a party that hasn't got a cat in hells chance of being elected in the next decade.

They do say a picture paints a thousand words, but it also wins the prize for having the slapped a*se of the year face!

To be fair to the Change group, we all moan about a two party system, no viable opposition etc and they tried something different. It was highly unlikely to stick and largely self aggrandising but they tried to offer an alternative.

Does anyone recall his parting words to Laura Kuensberg on the eve of the election last week...? ''You know what, we're gonna win this thing''... hehe

Then there's McDonnell to Brillo "You haven't seen a Corbyn government yet, you soon will".

Ooops x2.

Old video, but quite interesting - on the nicer side of politics. Jacob-Rees Mogg shows Jess Phillips around his constituency:

Quite liked that. Interesting and good to see that sort of interaction.

I live in the midlands so well used to a brummy accent, in fact i'm quite unusual in that i like the melody of it, but Jess Phillips comes across as a bit thick.

Cheered me up immensely, not that I needed cheering up given the result last week.
