You did all of the above when you were three, did you?
Er, possibly yes, within the constraints of the abilities of a three year old. Certainly was cycling with the other kids on my little bike with stabilisers at as early an age I can recall. Definitely was by four. smile

One thing I did forget to mention was though not only do today's kids face an obesity problem, they're also often reckoned to be the unhealthiest and unhappiest kids in Europe.

Way to go, modern parents. Keep them kids on a leash!

It isn't an attempt to excuse the idiot on the bike at all.

Idiots are everywhere. Beihind the wheel of a vehicle, on a bicycle, drunk and wanting a fight in a club on a Friday night. You have to plan for idiots.
Your comments are so bias.
Ironically your statement can be seen from a different perspective, and the cyclist you are so keen to defend. The cyclist didnt plan for the so called idiotic child and parents using a pavement!

All your posts smack of a cyclist with an agenda. Rather than someone applying common sense to a scenario with an obvious victim, as well as overwhelming evidance showing the cyclist caused the incident.
Man up , accept that this cyclist was a d*ck.

Are you really that dumb? You think I'm defending the idiot on the bike for what he did?

Actually, I think you are that stupid.

How about you stop trying to twist what people say to fit your own silly little agenda.

Might be a repost, but another one in the papers today, girl walking home from school, cyclist ploughed into her knocking her over and himself.

Girl had a broken wrist, cyclist just remounted and rode off.

This was Pool Cornwall.

I just hope the get the little fekker.

Allow me to predict a certain persons next post:

Parents fault! They should of collected the girl from school. To allow any girl to walk home is tantamount to inviting sexual assault. smile

The obvious solution is to install tram tracks on the pavement, keeps the cyclists off them and you get to spend billions on trams.

And/or, the cyclist wouldn't have even been on the pavement if it wasn't because of motorists.

If you watch the video clip, it appears that the little girl actually ran into the side of the bike. I'm not trying to defend the cyclist as he definitely shouldn't have been riding at that speed on a pavement, but it's clear that the little girl wasn't standing stock still on the pavement and the cyclist just ran into her.

I cycle in the back roads where I live, no pavements, if I am approaching someone with their back to me, I ring the bell to get their attention, wait till they look around and see me, and even then I pass slowly

What's difficult if these muppets "MUST" ride on the pavement, get a fekking bell.

If it wasn't for vehicle drivers, why would people who aren't simply idiots ride on the pavement? ..... I do know some people who won't cycle on the road because of idiot drivers.

Haha, I've seen the parents have identified the cyclist, turns out I've done some work for him before.

That's his business sunk I'll bet.

You need to watch again, its clear she was out of the gate posts before the bike came on screen

Regardless, its a shame to see some muppets on here trying to anyway justify the actions of the cyclists.
Would love to see their attitude change if the scenario was reversed

Reinforces my view that their an increasing proportion of society that shouldnt be given the time of day
