google: Kodi
or search on ebay for: Kodi
Apple iPhone doesn't allow that application ?
You haven't searched on ebay have you?

Kodi is an application/OS that usually runs on another device.
On ebay you can quite cheaply buy the device running kodi that you plug into your TV, much like you would a dvd player or sky box.

It is not ideal to run kodi on a phone, though possible.

The BBC couldn't detect a large group of paedophiles abusing kids in their own building.

I wouldn't worry about them catching you watching Songs of Praise on your iPlayer.

I run it through an Android tablet and use a Chromecast to put it on the TV, bluetooth keyboard for using the interface makes it easier to use. Works a treat. smile

I can't believe some of the comments on this thread.

Is it really worth goong to those lengths to save what, £12 per month?

Do you think the BBC is free to run?

Why should other people for the programmes you watch?!

Unbelievable.

Why should I pay for programs I don't watch?

Do you never watch or listen to any BBC?

Do you have Sky / BT / Netflix / etc.? Do you watch ALL of their content?

Why should I be forced into paying for it?

Why can't I subscribe instead?

You use them as much as anyone else. They are fundamental and necessary i.e food/goods essential to the UK economy.

If the BBC vanished overnight, the country would move along essentially unaffected.

Almost never, no. And only then because I've already paid for it, I'd quite happily not pay for it and not use it.
As ever the argument is choice. I do have sky but then I choose to.

Why does the phrase "people who know the cost of everything but the value of nothing" come to mind?

"Almost never". Or as others would say, yes.

So you use BBC. So pay for it. End of.

I may never has posted in an argument about a £12 months cost rolleyes but the fact is if you use the BBC you pay for it. iPlayer content is not free.

If you use gas or hire a car or go to the cinema or buy food you pay for it. Same goes for the BBC's content. Simples.
