I’m not sure he’s defending anyone, more that he’s openly dismissing the claims of the victims, based it seems, on viewing a podcast and then attacking the victims and framing them as money grabbing. I wonder if it's be linked in with trumps modelling agency, those young girls brought in. One also wonder what will happen to all those cd's and videos taken from Epsteins house during the search, just whose names are on them

There’s a wealth of information about Epstein and his antics, the Netflix documentary is by its nature sensationalist and emotive, maybe a reasonable starting point for somebody to investigate further. His death denied us the opportunity to uncover more, maybe Maxwell will provide an insight, too early to say, but we don’t know the true extent of his actions yet. back on repeated visits over a long period, introduced their friends, even

Your point about age is contextual, there are societies where marriage is allowed at 12 and 13 years of age, would you use that to exonerate somebody who had sex with a 14 year old? Epstein stands accused of having sex with underage girls in his own country, we don’t the full extent yet.
Maybe those people who would prefer to think the girls are liars or that those who believe them are gullible, should consider the view that for too long people turned a blind eye to monsters like Cyril Smith and Savile, ignoring and dismissing the claims of the abused. They probably feel it’s all going too far in the other direction and would rather that the victims weren’t given the benefit of the doubt quite so often, you can see where it leads.

Jesus H. They were done over at the first trial. Done over by the power and money and other interested parties, a s
t load of evidence was buried and they didn't even tell them that that evil nasty bit of work got let off until it was announced, the evidence never saw the light of day and that is the evidence they got after raiding him the first time. He did get a tip off and some was "lost".He even had the local police acting as door men when he was let off for his day release from prison to work in his office and very probably still at it. The latest arrest, they managed to raid his New York apartment before he got wind of it, travelling back from abroad that was against his travel restrictions. Though his island and ranch managed to avoid raids long enough.
Acosta was one involved in the plea deal of the century including the lawyer mentioned above and somewhere down the trail of involvement by links to organisations that benefited is Barr.
Some people seem to see female and think guilty. Because chromosomes.

I've seen an uptick in dormant accounts (no posts for years!) suddenly posting a flurry of activity in NP&E, it's hard to say if it's people coming back to PH during lockdown, dormant 2nd/3rd accounts or hijacked accounts.
It would be good if PH invested in better forum software and enabled MFA to force the use of phones for authentication. It's easy to create a new throw-away email, more effort to have a throw-away phone. That might mean a ban actually has consequences.

no not middle class girls at all. I suspect the truth is he an many others did groom and traffic girls for sex (there motivation) and some participants may have gone along with it for money an lifestyle. Its a very murky line where you say up to one point you are going along with it at next point you are being manipulated.

Guess who paid for the year long holiday? She didn't seem to have a problem with that, but 20 years later "OMG I was horrifically groomed and abused. Can I have some more money now please?" That's the victims poster girl? Do me a favour.
