So according to Kate Forbes if we have to lockdown again or need furlough then Westminster will have to pay because Scotland hasn't got the money-

So an independent Scotland would do what exactly?
Shame all the cash was blown on pre-election bribes, free stuff, ferries, compo for illegal Rangers prosecutions, etc etc.

If they had kept a reserve for not so unexpected events it wouldn't be a problem.

As indeed THe Herald predicted.

" SNP ministers have used short-lived Covid funding to pay for a raft of pre-election give-aways, storing up future problems, the UK’s top economic thinktank has warned.

The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) said tens of millions from the Treasury were being used to fund free school meals, free bus travel, a council tax freeze and possibly above-inflation NHS pay rises.

It warned that using this temporary cash for more permanent policies in the coming year meant tax rises or service cuts elsewhere when the pandemic cash ran out, with the core budget for 2022/23 already looking “tight”. "

See 35 years ago when David Icke came out with this kind of st he was put in the loon cupboard. Now they have audiences, and (some) political parties court them as opposed to writing them off as disturbed.

It’s a strange world.

Surely this is fraudulent use of U.K. Gov funds provided for the specific purpose of COVID related support, not more free stuff for the face painted fkwits. I look forward to the auditors arriving in force at the shortbread senate.

Probably not. The SNP get a share of UK funding as per Barnett and it's up to them after that. But if they squander it all on sweeties they can't then run to mum and dad when the roof needs mending

IIRC- They were given a lot of money to distribute to employers to distribute to their employees.
The greedy feckers (SNP Govt) decided not to help SME businesses - and gave the money to Who Knows Where.

I guess the high street in Jockland is well short or two of local businesses.

What’s the purple t shirt got to do with anything? I’m scared to Google the words required to find out.

Then we had Braveheart which had the SNats forevermore shouting 'Freedom', which has to be the North Korean version considering that the SNP
want to give your kids a state guardian, they want your 4yr old to swap gender without your consent .and they now want to control where and when you go to events.

Our civil liberties are being removed by a tyrant.

I took on your challenge ! I now wish I had retained my ignorance . However I’m now off out to get a purple shirt knowing it might just offer me some protection at least .

Why have independence from the UK when you already have independence from reality

My best guess is that it is the uniform tunic of a carer. Which still has no logic to the response.

It speaks volumes when someone who has been a lifetime supporter of independence and a leading member of SNP can have the integrity & honestly to criticise this shambolic and failure ridden administration.
