I have to say that I agree with Murray. If anything, I think the significance of the AS issue has been underplayed in the media. It is simply astonishing that Labour went into a General Election as a patently anti-semitic party. I will never forgive the party for that. It needs a real clear-out and re-birth.

No it can’t. But last time I checked he wasn’t the party leader going into an election, the Muslim council of Britain hadn't written an open letter condemning him and there wasn’t a report saying 80% of Muslims were considering leaving the country if he won.

From where do you think/would you like to see, right-thinking (not politically obvs) new blood coming from?

On the face of it, it does seem like a paradox, from the "traditionally most vocal" proponents of equality & tolerance comes such abhorrent views & actions.

I wonder if that's why so many are in denial? Which can lead to irrational behaviour & there's been a lot of that.

I'm not tarring everyone on the left with that brush, only the ones who seek control & power & any cost.

For balance, the left are not alone in this behaviour, but historically, they have been seen as somewhat owning the liberal stance.

On a side note, did you hear Kate Hoey on the BBC last night?

All those £3 memberships to vote for corbyn. Its been a long time coming, but another 4 years with no EU will be great. Im looking forward to it
