I understand St Greta is guest editor of the R4 "Today" programme over the Christmas period.

Amazing. Just amazing.
It is. Good for her.
I thinks she's also doing The Woke in Westminster.
Rumour hasn't hinted she's got a starring role in the spin-off 'How Green Is My Valley'.

It's all about saving Wales.

Yeah but she hasn't upset her don't forget, we are just worried about her being manipulated and uhh she hasn't upset us. Uhh she actually has already been forgotten and her message didn't go anywhere.

Did you mention chip paper? Jane Fonda and chips, not so likely...

As to humour 'beating up' when I've already said many times that Greta is a victim, this ott knee-jerk defence mechanism is really touching. Cloth.

In what way is a distant, exploited teenager scary?

If you think so, think again. Such baseless taunts are hilarious but mere humour has to suffice for non-acolytes.

What has she changed materially in e.g. USA, Australia, France, Germany or UK? Apart from getting rebukes from national leaders and ministers of course.

Then try Russia, China, India. More coal mining and coal burning is taking place, is that it? Result! It'll be interesting to read how Greta gets on with her visits to these locations via diesel-engined superyacht.

There's another spin-off not in the running: One Flew Over The Windfarm But 9,999 Were Killed.

He mocks her and then says she's the victim.

Way to treat a victim!

With a handful of loyal followers launching to her defence at the first sign of humour, the path to a marxist climate utopia is secure, good work.

It's a thread emergency!

Although the gretaists are as hopeless at bantercourse as they are at defending carbon fairytales, the point remains that it really is doomsville because the science tells us climate related deaths have been....falling like bats around a turbine.

With such dangerous warming adjustments to temperature data, not quite 1 deg C over the past 150 years, what can we expect except to fry in our own juices within 12 years. Greta has spoken. Selling the sizzle not the sausage is alive and well.

On the social media, Greta isn't pleased that a school boy has been locked up for six days for "climate striking" in Russia.

https://www.dw.com/en/russias-lone-climate-protest...

Greta, of course has no intention of going to Russia and shouting "How dare you!" at Vladimir Putin.

Isn't doing much for the BBC's credibility as an "impartial " broadcaster to hand over the editing of one of their flagship programmes to an extreme environmental activist.

She scares adults, Putin would crumble. China would be too easy.

Greta connects bushfires to climate change

https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/gre...

Bush fire expert thinks differently

https://www.2gb.com/podcast/scientist-david-packha...

A pity they didn’t listen to him back in 2015 when he was raising concerns about it.

You've seen who else have been guest editors of Today before - several other prominent activists have had the role before.

Here is the list. Reasonably diverse bunch, including Norman Tebbit and Betty Boothroyd.

The 2019 ones are available as well if you are that interested.

Is that per 3 posts?

Yes but Norman Tebbit is a well-known Centrist so unlikely to be biased in any way shape or form.

Betty Boothroyd aka the LoonyLeftyLabour Harridan was clearly biased and therefore the BBC should be banned immediately.

It’s a pity that some zoom in on someone they dislike and see that as total bias. Their loss though. They probably miss some of the excellent Radio and TV programmes the BBC broadcast.
