Moyles is OK

Probably the best DJ (with his team) on radio 1 IMO.
Which says?

Occasionally the very late night stuff can be good for new music but, daytime R1 is like listening to 13yr olds trying to out cool each other with made up words and nonsense.
The sound quality of R1 is horrible and the majority of the music is rancid, only there due to the controller being wined and dined in London's finest.

Indeed, the sending of crap old R1 DJs to R2 is killing R2 already - WTF is a Chris Evans in existence for? let alone paid to ruin the breakfast show.
Umm...they've always done that with Radio 2.

On the current schedule:

Chris Evans - Radio 1 breakfast
Steve Wright - Radio 1 afternoon
Simon Mayo - Radio 1 Morning
Tony Blackburn - Radio 1

Off the top of my head. This is the way it always works - they can't keep making new pop music stations for young people so the older people get moved on to radio 2.
I know that's how it worked, but I stopped listening to R1 when I was a teenager because of all the morons that came in around the time DLT left, now those morons are appearing on R2 & having the same effect.

Does Moyles still like to do visual gags, that only him and his little gang can see, them lambast many "listener" that has the audacity to mention that visual gags are really not that good for the listener?

I thought R4 was just talking? my ideal station would have almost zero talking & just good music.

Yeah, but it's good talking, with sentences and grammar and IQ points and everyfink.

Radio 4 is superb. Except for the bloody Archers; wish they'd dump that.

The comedy (e.g. The Now Show), chat shows (e.g. Desert Island Discs), arts shows (e.g. Front Row) and current affairs (e.g. Today, PM), are leagues ahead of anything that is on TV.

So Radio 4 gets 10.8 million listeners, the fat tt gets 7.4 million listeners

Maybe we aren't a nation of complete retards
Clearly the taste for Radio 4 inhibits some sort of spelling ability, though.
As an official representative of the PH Spelling and Grammar Police, I hereby award you two "failed pedant" points on your spelling licence, because there are no spelling errors in tf2's post.
Ahem. Thread title?
Or is that a grammar fail? smile

Grammar fail, indeed. But that's not what our pedant attempted to point out.

That's what I thought, although I'm not an official representative of the PH Spelling and Grammar Police.

...ahh - not strictly true. Was in a friend's car when Moyles was on. Jeez, what a load of immature rubbish he spouts.
