A man that many wouldn't give a second glance to in the street, a man who many if they passed him would think he was just another old soak.

There are many like him who fight and give their all so we can live the life we do.

like I always say, you never know who's who and shouldn't pass judgement on looks alone.

Sad news, true professionals. No glory, no fame, just getting the job done making our lives safer.

I know in recent years there have been the books and TV etc, but back then it was just their job.

when I heard about this yesterday I had to re-watch the iranian embassy siege doc again via you tube this bloke was a legend. RIP.

Very sad to hear this. I've never been in the forces, but Mac is the one guy I would have followed into the most hostile of places.
