The Americans/British have being suggesting this is the case for years, especially with regards making IEDs more sophisticated, loads of news articles if you Google.

We should see it in the press then toot sweet.

Re Iran arming the naughty people, they are record saying we do this and they will stop doing that meaning a trade off for something that I cannot remember. The trade of was them arming people in Afghanistan. Panorama or something.

Iran wouldn't be the only country supplying weapons to the Taliban. Wouldn't surprise me if America were too! Oil and weapon sales .... and who said the war is a waste of time?

in all seriousness this can easily lead to bigger things, I see it as Iran flexing it's muscles and America testing the waters. WW3 anyone?

It's hardly surprising, the Iranians are arming/helping the Taliban, so the Americans would be looking for supply lines etc.
You'll be telling us the Iraqis had WMD next.

Now the Iranians are claiming they hacked into it and landed it themselves.

Even the septics cant even land a UAV properly.
.. they cant even shoot the right side combatants, so why would you think they could land anything!?

Not convinced about WW3. But I suspect that life once Putin becomes re-elected will become become a little more beligerent. I am sure what ever the west's view is, he will more than likely take the opposing side.

Err - no, you seem to have me confused with a manipulative mendacious megalomaniac called Tony, my name’s not Tony.

I'm curious why people see the US flying drones over Iran as being any different to them flying SR-71s and U2s over the USSR?
The situation is much the same, the Iranians are now in a cold war with the US, the Soviet Union was.

More controversial would be if Putin's bunch shot one down. Then the shi'ite would really hit the fan.

Par for the course, but no doubt if the Iranians did the same, the us would be jumping up and down harder than a four year old mainlining jellybeans.

Now it is said it was lost before it was shot down. Come on Iran, put it on display. Even if you have to riddle it with bullets first.

In 1988? Yes.
In 2003? Nope.
