Rearing and slaughtering livestock is slightly different to hunting endangered species...
Just as well the whales they are hunting aren't endangered then
This... not all whales are endangered.

Vs an inhumane way of rearing... I'm not convinced their way is any more evil than some of ours.

What would be a humane way of killing them? Mines? Knives? Cluster bombs? Cigarettes? Given we don't have a great ethical record with fellow humans, being 'humane' means very little.

And yet we don't have threads on here regarding chicken farming, veal, fois gras, etc. It's just nice fluffy or adorable creatures that garner our attention, that aren't on OUR dinner tables.

So BBC, Greenpeace and the Guardian are the first three sources. I've written this off as lefty propaganda to start with. Assume the WSJ is of the same ilk?

I'm not the one complaining about 2 wrongs don't make a right. people couldn't give a hoot about chickens, or pigs, or whatever else sits on your own dinner table. They only seem to care what is on other peoples dinner tables.
