Her argument goes like this:

1. The Falklands are nearer Argentina than the UK

2. Thus the Falklands should be given to Argentina

3.The Falkland Islanders will be grateful for this because they will no longer be under the colonial yoke of the British Empire.

I am not making this up.

Even though I don't agree with roughly 99% of what she says, I am always worried about comments which contain the wish that "something needs to be done about him/her".

We know what needs to be done, don't vote for her. If she is the best parliamentary candidate in the Brighton constituency, that is more of a reflection of those who stood against her at the last election.
Well said.

Her constituency's Brighton.

You might need to hire a strap-on.

I also heard that basically "they are incorrect when they say they want to remain British" because who would want to be British?

She simply couldn't comprehend anything other than they were incorrect as Britain is such a hateful place.

I have always subscribed to the belief of one or other of the ancient Greek philosophers (smartarse needed...) that the desire for political power should mean automatic exclusion from any consideration as a public or civil servant and any attempt to ignore this exclusion to result in death.

Also, anyone using the term 'Green' whilst referring to the pseudo-industry that has sprung from the worst abuse of 'science' in human history, should be euthenased on the spot.

So there.

Exactly, that is what the people of Brighton chose and all i can think for is the saying 'be careful what you wish for it might come true'

They deserve her, hell they maybe even like her as the local MP.

Personally i couldnt think of anything worse!!

You mean Dr Caroline Lucas, PhD

Her thesis?

Writing for Women: a study of woman as reader in Elizabethan romance.

Clearly an expert in economics, the environment and green technology....
fk me how did they award a PhD for that?! You're supposed to be adding useful, new knowledge to the world.

fk, even yogurt knitting has more substance than what that sounds like. At least you could describe an efficient technique for the knitting of yoghurt!

Don't forget that until recently she was a euro mp. Brussels' gain is our loss? Probably a nice pension pot sitting over there too.

She has been replaced in Brussels by another greeny from Brighton. Naturally as a green euro mp he walks and cycles between the two instead of flying at public expense? Yeah, right!
