UKIP - one issue party with fairly tired rhetoric. Yet to see any evidence of someone from the party with an IQ that reaches three figures. Is there even anyone else at the office other than Farage?

My track record in general elections:
2010 - Lib Dem
2005 - Lib Dem
I think you'll find the EU has been thoroughly discredited in recent years. Time to take the blinkers off.

I'm not saying the EU is great - far from it. More that UKIP is a one-trick pony; a joke that's gone too far. If, through some bizarre national aneurysm, he got into power, the country would collapse. I'd trust The Chuckle Brothers to do a better job, quite honestly.

We don't run our own country anymore.

Sooner the EU dies the better.

Where as it's just positively thriving at the moment as it did under the Red ties.

Another UKIP here.
Why?, well it's to do with the Libertarian viewpoint, none of the current major Parties are on that wavelength.
All the major parties seek to further control us, to deny individual action, to see us as a mass to be controlled, using the "benefits" of digital technology.

I think the joke that has gone too far is the entire EU project.

UKIP a one-trick pony? Let's watch Question Time tonight and discuss. I will be recording and then watching saturday morning.

Chuckle Brothers? A quick google informs me that this is some TV program for kids, and certainly not for my kids from what I have seen. Interesting you understand them as much as to make an analogy.

Sums up my feelings exactly. To say I feel betrayed is an understatement frown

And yet you somehow believe that a party run out of a unit in a business park is in a position to run the country. God Bless PH. You'd be better off voting for David Icke.

Ah, a nice subtle attempt to mount a personal attack. Always the mark of a sterling intellect. I'm twenty-five years old and they've been making kids' TV for over twenty years. What of it? I notice you're in medical sales - just love drugs, do you? Look at how ridiculous such comments are and grow up.

Thankfully though, beyond the realms of PH, UKIP remains an also-ran. But the position of 'viable opposition' remains open.

I suggest you take a look at the comments section for Mail and Telegraph articles online. There's a lot of Tory to Ukip movement going on.

I've voted Tory at every election and even though this lot are doing a dismal job in regards to selling out to appease the liberals and the broken pledges I'm still going to vote Tory.

I contemplated ukip but a protest vote helps no one apart from labour as all the benefit scrounges will still vote for them useless s and no doubt they'll sneak in to fk this country once and for all.

...and that, ladies and gentlemen, is the considered opinion of your average 'kiptard.

In essence, "let's let Labour back in and burn the country down because we can't get what we want now"

UKIP is about the politics of stamping your foot, pouting, and claiming you can scream and scream and scream until you're sick..because you can - hugely entertaining, but absolutely no good whatsoever when it comes to achieving actual political power.

So, 'kippers, keep on screaming and stamping. Keep a bucket handy if you feel a bit queasy though.

UKIP are the Daily Mail of the political world. They are feeding off one particular insecurity in the same way Galloway targeted the Muslim vote. I don't like that. As much as I think the EU stinks as it stands I recognise the relationship is necessary and prefer to be in there but wary, as seems the strategy of Cameron, instead of out in some kneejerk fashion.

Agreed. We do not have a conservative govt in power. I hope and prey that an utter Terence like Milibamd is never let anywhere near the levers of power, but ultimately that's what a ukip vote would mean.
