Wake up and realise we live in a society that has terrible history regarding black people and believe it or not back then especially these type of incidents occur more often in these countries with the minorities. Saddening to see the reactions, at the death of someone who changed the world for the better, tells me a lot about the people who are commenting.
Oh, I'm sorry, I guess you knew this wonderful martyr personally so are in a position to comment on his life. Clearly he wasn't just a low life criminal who ended up with a very nice payday for being the victim of Police brutality. That time he was convicted of robbery and beating a shopkeeper with an iron bar was just because he was black. Or the jail sentence for running over his wife. Or the second drink conviction. Do you feel the black community was blameless for the riots? That there are no racists amongst them? That it was all the fault of those evil rich white guys? That we should still be apologising for slavery?
There are white criminals and there are black criminals. Difference is only one can claim they're being discriminated against when things don't go their way.

Clearly you are missing the point what he did before and after was wrong but largely irrelevant. You have been unable to see it was effectively a racist attack my the police, I would love for you to justify them saying 'We are going to kill you, n***er', they nearly killed the guy the difference here being these are the Police people who are supposed to be the law.
If you can I would advise you to remove that chip from your shoulder.

On the positive side it shows how far we've come as a country. It must be hard for many people who live in the UK to understand the sheer scale of racial issues which existed in the early 90s and before in the US - and still exist today, black President or otherwise. For people to think things like the 92 LA Riots happened for no good reason then those people obviously live in a country where these problems largely don't exist.Sad really
Still need a history lesson though.

No I'm not. If it was a white person they still would have been charged, it's just that a section of their community wouldn't have gone on a rampage afterwards. I'm not justifying the Police actions, even after he physically resisted and refused to lay down after being threatened with a Taser. I can't find a source for that quote though, and the video itself doesn't pick up what was said. Clearly you still feel he's a noble figure , instead of a criminal whose cause was jumped on by the likes of Jesse Jackson and other "leaders" who do race relations more harm than good.If you can I would advise you to remove that chip from your shoulder.

Not really. People didn't riot in Birmingham because someone got shot in London. When they did collar a few of the scumbags the best 'reasons' they could give were mainly about how society doesn't respect them and 'theres no jobs out there innit.'
