WTF? I guess until we know a motive we can't really say much.

Watching this on SKY News, seems there are two shooters now. Bloody awful news and these sick people who do this, what pushes them to do this.

So you're saying no one should know about this?

Only if the shooter is white.

Terrible story. Not speculating who was responsible but this kind if terror attack is far more achievable for the perps than convoluted bomb schemes.
Police are saying no current terrorism links.

What I don't understand is why terrorists don't go in for more of this sort of thing.

They could create far more fear with regular these type of smaller attacks than trying large coordinated bombing / spectaculars.

What's changed over the years?
I'm beginning to believe Peter Hitchens, the only journo campaigning on this subject.

And having had first hand knowledge now, I think I can delete the 'beginning to'.

Why are more of these episodes becoming commonplace?

No idea, but just saying they're nutcases, what makes them nutters?

ADs are so widespread now. Good friend of mine was put on them and for no reason got out of car, onto a bridge and dived in. Good fortune got out and arrived at work like a drowned rat. Good fortune didn't decide to cross reservation into ongoing traffic.

ADs are prescribed willy nilly today.
Columbine killers were on ADs, awash with Serotonin.

What's odd there?

They won't send bodies to the hospital when there are injured people. Injured (but not dead) people are likely to have received a shot to a limb or torso (but not major organ).

I guess these guys just sprayed automatic fire into the audience - giving random locations for shots - not aimed like other massacres.

There's something to be said for this approach. There was some sort of psychologist on the Charlie Brooker Newswipe program saying that one way to battle this sort of attack is to starve the psycho of publicity.

He said something like "Don't put it on national news, don't show his picture, don't name him."

Fortunately terrorism & intelligence don't always go hand in hand.

I would hazard a guess that the mindset of a terrorist is related to glory/highlighting a cause - and in that respect the bigger scale attacks are more effective. If an organisation such as A-Q decided on a tactic of multiple small scale attacks, that would truly cause terror like you say.
