That was low.
? On another thread a poster said that police arrived in the morning and the travelling folk who would never use force or break the law were gone by lunchtime?!?

To give the local police their due, they've set up an incident on this, and are criming it as arson w/i to endanger life. But they know they will get nowhere.

Later this month there will be the major influx of caravans on the pitches and the council will drag their feet and that will be that.
Summed up the problem right there.

Justice system is a load of balls.

Maybe the groundsman was bored of his own little caravan and wanted his own big one instead, but is short of funds?

Maybe the nice travelling groundsman is not that nice at all and has had a dispute with other travellers, resulting in a fiery payback?

And so on.

The response that springs to mind is 'Fight fire with fire!'.

Not really practical, or human but....

The thread title is "Not news as won't be in the nationals". Why not phone the newsdesk of one of the nationals and tell them? It won't help the groundsman but it might apply some pressure to the council to shift them.

Or buy a flamethrower.
