Another Taser disaster.

Hope someone was wearing a body-cam for this. How do you get close enough to taser but not see it's a blind man with a cane?
It's funny, my daughter was at a run in, the officers were heard to say "cam's on" (or words to that effect) yet the footage failed on all three La Liga said:
I think it needs to have an element of flammability to score a 10.
There's a positive. The officers decided to go for the less lethal option. powerstroke said:
I think we should count our blessings ,some people think the police should be armed with like real guns !!!
They were armed with real guns. R1gtr said:

Essentially, fight in curry house in a busy town centre on a Saturday night, police called, bloke gets tasered and goes up.
He'd been sick after necking about 10 shots of sambuca about 5 minutes before the fight, the throwing up on someone is what started the fight.
100% genuine. He was put out quick by a pint of lager being chucked on him and no harm done.
There are seldom any winners in tackling blind people. We had to nick a pissed up blind man who ripped the phone off the wall in a pub ( shows how long ago that was), and was trying to hit anyone who went near him with his stick. All very unedifying. Long before the days of Taser thank goodness, so he was just wrestled to the floor in the usual manner

So what would they have done if they didn't have tasers, or they had used the tasers without having the desired effect?La Liga said:

Maybe they play Taser Bingo-
1 point for a black man
2 pts for a tramp
........
........
8 pts for a Nun
9 pts for a Blind man
10 pts for a disabled child
La Liga can possibly confirm if this actually happens??
Apparently there are no rules when discharging a taser so it's inevitable that things like this will happen. 1 point for a black man
2 pts for a tramp
........
........
8 pts for a Nun
9 pts for a Blind man
10 pts for a disabled child
La Liga can possibly confirm if this actually happens??

I can see how this could get mistaken for a gun if it was in its bag with the handle sticking out and it was a dark area. The article said the man was acting in an agitated manner, so presumably was not following police instructions.
I wonder why and who called them in the first place? They must have been expecting someone with a gun for armed officers to be deployed surely?

Blind canes dont generally have handles on them - they are designed to be held in front of the user to feel their way round obstacles - not for support as is the case with this typeI wonder why and who called them in the first place? Reading ther latest updates on this story it see,s the police are of the view that the Taser was appropriately deployed - mateys not making any complaint - so it looks like the firer may get some words of advice and thatll be the end of it

I would suggest that the clown who fired the taser isn't fit to carry a real gun. Or a taser.Go on- tell me about his "hnestly held belief".
