My Facebook is awash with Labour voters accusing the Tories of using public money to bribe their way in to power.
The hypocrisy is stunning.
The hypocrisy is stunning.
And then there are the people who suddenly care so much about the Anglo-Irish accord.
Ffs this money is going to be spent on Northern Ireland's infrastructure, and will benefit both communities there unless of course NI have separate roads, hospitals etc for Catholics and Protestants.

With regard to the ex terrorists, some of these would be murderes, yes ?
Which members of the DUP are murderers?who were you referring to?

So when you mentioned that the word "ex" was important in regard to terrorists,
who were you referring to?
An ex-terrorist is someone who was a terrorist but who has since renounced terrorism. Is this really that hard to understand?who were you referring to?

We have paid £1b for probably 5 Commons votes that TM will now win, which she may not have won without the DUP agreement.
But probably would have won anyway.
The deal is essentially about preventing another general election and a Corbyn marxist major fkup which would bring the UK to its knees within 5 years and take 30 to recover from.
We should all be grateful that she's had the balls to do this.
Would have been very easy to walk away and take a chance on being able to hold things together against a Liebour regime which will do anything to get into power.
Anything.
But probably would have won anyway.

She created this mess, but the tax payer is, as always, having to pay for it.
£120M for an unnecessary GE.
£1BN for the DUP bribe.
What's next I wonder.
The election was a cock-up; we are where we are now so let's leave it there.
DUP can punch above their weight (as did the Lib-Dems in the coalition) and are doing so. I don't think they're being totally silly with their demands.
They're asking for infrastructure, health & education- not unreasonable and not sectarian. I say it's a fair price under the circumstances.

Thanks for your help.
Surely regardless of it being the DUP who demanded these additional incentives, the people of Ireland benefit.
As such the other Irish parties should be pleased for the electorate.
Further issues of any perceived Conservative bias towards the DUP, can only be realised once this arrangement has had time.
So for now should be put aside.
To me i dont have a real issue, as my main concern is for a period of political stability.
This will allow the Brexit negotiations to be carried out, and hopefully a deal that is considered to meet the expectations of the majority.
Just need Corbyn and certain Labour MPs to stop making sweeping statements, to gain political favour in the mean time.

It just makes me laugh how bad losers lefties are!
Diddums...won't your nice beardy nutter get to try out his policies then?
Have you suddenly realised that, despite what he's told you, he did actually lose the election?
Never mind. You can throw your toys out of your pram on the 1st July before being kettled and getting a criminal record that will keep you downtrodden for ever.

Re read my actual question.
To be blunt I thought the whole thing was off as the DUP had gone cold on the deal.
I would have admired the Tories more if they had just thought "sod it we will run with what we have got and do the best we can
One things for sure if they can find dosh for this then it will look really hollow them saying theres no money for this or that
