Family related? Has to be what they think, surely?
I think so and unfortunately i can't see it being anything else either...poor girl! The Syrian angle has been brought up as relevant as slightly over 1% of the island's population are displaced Syrians, and as alluded to already, sexual assaults are notably higher within specific cultures (see also Germany and Sweden for this).
If it turns out to be a family member or not, it's not as relevant as ensuring the perpetrator is charged and convicted, and has a hellish time in prison forever more.

Sexual crimes are up 45% from last years figures alone on Bute
Nope, they're not. Sexual crimes in Argyll & Bute (of which Bute is less than 10% of the population) were up in 2014/15, but have fallen since. Apparently the increase was due to reporting of historical offences.http://www.thenational.scot/news/16332409.katie-ho...

Although racists often jump to other conclusions without cause.
Could you please point out in the thread where a racist jumped to an other conclusion?, I have searched vigorouslyand cant see it. The only conclusion I can come to is you just made that up.
Is that all you can give as a reply?, your post doesn't 'bother' me in the slightest, cant see where you drew that
conclusion from.
You forgot to point out where the racist conclusion was as well, don't tell me...you cant find it either
You really need to be a bit more careful when posting made up guff, when you get called out for doing so
it can be a tad embarrassing.

I've not seen any conclusions jumped to other than "most murders" being "family related". Whether or not this turns out to be the case, doesn't mean it was racist to look at other possibilities. It's like stating all London knife murders are by white people because it would be "racist" to suggest the perpetrators are mainly black.

It's a pretty well known fact that most murders involve relations in some way. I wouldn't say that it was 'jumping to conclusions' to point that out.The Syrian angle has been brought up as relevant as slightly over 1% of the island's population are displaced Syrians, and as alluded to already, sexual assaults are notably higher within specific cultures (see also Germany and Sweden for this).

You do seem quite bothered by something that may not have even been aimed towards you.conclusion from.

Yip a 16 year old arrested but police still searching & asking for help and any video evidence people may have?! Still all seems rather strange to me?
I guess until they come out and tell us what happened..if they even know we'll be kept in the dark even more so now i guess with it being an U18 arrested?

Chances are the public wont be told any other details now, which leads to all manner of speculation and guessing,I guess until they come out and tell us what happened..if they even know we'll be kept in the dark even more so now i guess with it being an U18 arrested?
one of the more fanciful ideas I have heard is that the culprit isn't 16 but they are saying that so they don't have to name him.
Whoever it is, if found guilty, should never be allowed to walk the streets ever again.

A 16yr old would rule out any of the family members then I guess as there's been no mention of any other children in the household so far?
What's somewhat terrifying is the thought this girl may somehow exited the property in the night on her own accord and the first person she runs into doesn't call the police to inform them they've found her but decides to murder her instead.

Hard to comprehend how anyone could have such an amount of evil within them, another truly shocking murder of an innocentWhat's somewhat terrifying is the thought this girl may somehow exited the property in the night on her own accord and the first person she runs into doesn't call the police to inform them they've found her but decides to murder her instead.

Yip that's what i'm finding all too confusing too...!What's somewhat terrifying is the thought this girl may somehow exited the property in the night on her own accord and the first person she runs into doesn't call the police to inform them they've found her but decides to murder her instead.
Did she just walk out the house? If so why? I read she sleep walks but then walks into a murdering 16yo? Just doesn't add up! I think she must have known the 16yo...possibly a cousin...who knows!
As above, i guess we may never know!
